The staff is very friendly and provided good recommendations to attractions. Excellently located, close to San Marco's but still close to local Venetian shops and restaurants. The hotel information booklet is very clear on services and fees

Amazing position, friendly staff, lovely breakfast, big with everything you need, can dry your hand washing on the heated towel rack, the cleaner even got our clothes off the rack and folded them all 💕 this is definitely the spot to stay for that special stay.

Very friendly helpful staff who thought of everything. It was my birthday and they brought cake and Prosecco…so thoughtful and very much appreciated. Excellent breakfast served in our room looking out to the Canale Grande. Absolutely perfect as was everything in this hotel.

The hotel is just over a bridge from a water bus stop and facing the sea, so we had beautiful views of all the boats and other islands. Fantastic location, less than 10 mins stroll to St marks sq. Sun all day on the hotel room. We were given room on the 4th floor, which had a fab balcony to sit out on. Lovely double doors out, but large step up to get out. Fantastic views. There was plenty of noise from boats all day, but I heard very little during the night.
Breakfast was served in the room, ordered what we wanted, and the time of delivery on the first day, and it was brought to the room each morning. Unfortunately, it's a little cramped in the room to eat, one of us had to sit on bed, but great selection of food and drinks. Lovely and warm, and we had 2 lovely mornings so we sat out on the balcony to eat breakfast. We could change the time of breakfast on our last day as we had an early flight.
The room was a lovely size, it had a mini fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Wardrobe and desk and chair. It has air-conditioning, but this only works in summer and heating, which was great. The bed was a double and lovely and comfortable.
Bathroom was great size. Had luggage storage and a second chair. Unfortunat, the shower was just a hose over bath, so you couldn't stand for a shower. Suited me grand as I love baths, but not my husband. Lovely big heater, so you could turn up and down as suited, plus a lovely big window with fab views. Shower gel/hair wash in tube over bath and sink.
The hotel does have a lift, but this only goes to the 3rd floor, so we have to walk up the stairs to the 4th floor. This mightn't suit older or disabled people. The lift did break down one day but was fixed by the next day. This did have an extra strain on poor legs, especially after the hours of walking around this beautiful town.
Overall, we had a fantastic time. The hotel, staff, and food and location were great.Kerri from United States – 29 March 2025 (9/10)
Great location! Staff so friendly and helpful with suggestions for dinner and places to visit. Room was very clean and we loved being right on the canal. Such a gorgeous view!
