Tucked away on Castello 2611 in the Castello sestiere, it’s just a stone’s throw from the Arsenale vaporetto stop, which made getting there with my luggage way less of a hassle than I expected. It’s not your fancy hotel lobby vibe; more like stepping into a friend’s cozy flat, with that faint salty scent from the nearby lagoon mixing with whatever pasta sauce the neighbors were cooking – Venice in a nutshell, really.

What I loved most – and I mean, this is coming from someone who’s stayed in a dozen spots around the city – is how it nails that authentic Venetian living without the tourist trap feel. The apartment itself is a solid four-star setup: spacious enough for a couple or small family, with a kitchenette that actually had decent pots and pans (I whipped up a simple risotto one night after grabbing veggies from the Rialto market, about a 15-minute walk away). The bedroom overlooks a little courtyard – quiet as can be in the evenings, though you might hear church bells from San Pietro di Castello chiming in the morning, which sort of adds to the charm. Well, unless you’re a light sleeper; then again, it’s Venice, so earplugs are a traveler’s best friend. During biennale season, it’s perfect – you’re literally steps from the Giardini and the theatre, so you can pop in and out without fighting the hordes. Off-season, it’s even better: fewer people, and you get that misty, atmospheric walk along the Riva degli Schiavoni to St. Mark’s Square in under 10 minutes. Oh, and parking? Forget it – this is Venice, but if you’re arriving by train, it’s an easy 20-minute stroll from Santa Lucia station. One minor gripe: the Wi-Fi was spotty at times, especially in the bathroom (why do I always need to check emails there?), but hey, it forced me to unplug and enjoy the view.

All in all, if you’re after a spot that feels like your own little slice of Venice rather than some sterile chain hotel, this apartment’s a winner – that 8.4 rating doesn’t lie. It’s ideal for art enthusiasts or anyone wanting to escape the San Marco chaos while still being close enough to dive back in. I left feeling like I’d actually lived there for a bit, you know?   Nice apartment. Everything was clean, quite area . Everything was pretty near . It was easy to get in self check in was good. Instructions were good and understantable. + It was nice owner left us lists with all information like taxi, cafes, restaurants etc.

  What could be improved: Ar condicionado não refrigera toda a casa e faz muito calor no quarto de casal, o box do banheiro estava faltando uma porta e por isso tem que ter cuidado para não inundar o banheiro, o chuveiro não prendinha mais no suporte e por isso tinha que tomar banho só com uma mão porque a outra tinha que segurar o chuveiro.

  Отличное расположение в самом центре: 7-10 мин. от площади Сан Марко. Отремонтированная квартира и парадная в старом (историческом) доме. Мы приехали утром, договорившись с хозяевами, что нам позволят оставить багаж в апартаментах до установленного времени заезда. Но они были столь любезны, что сразу поселили нас на 4 часа раньше, отдали ключи и проинструктировали. Просторная квартира, достаточно оборудованная кухня с газовой плитой, регулируемое отопление. Хороший wi-fi, хотя подключился не сразу, но хозяева решили проблему. В номере чисто, каждое утро приходил человек и забирал мусор,
  
  What could be improved: Я оплатил on line указанную на Booking сумму (включая налоги и сборы), но после достаточно муторной online регистрации пришел дополнительный счет на оплату 60 евро туристического налога. Значит, информация на Booking не правдива??

  Chiara, z którą się kontaktowałam to przemiła osoba, z cierpliwością i uprzejmością odpowiadała na każde pytanie. Wskazówki dotyczące kluczy oraz lokalizacji były najlepsze jakie kiedykolwiek dostałam od gospodarza, nie pozostawiały wątpliwości gdzie wszytko się znajduje. Od progu w apartamencie ładnie pachniało i wszędzie było bardzo czysto co jest dla mnie szczególnie ważne. Czyste ręczniki i pościel oraz dobrze zaopatrzona kuchnia to dodatkowe duże plusy. Przydatna okazała się również książka z okolicznymi atrakcjami oraz lokalizacjami restauracji oraz sklepów. Skorzystaliśmy z kilku i to były bardzo trafione polecenia. Apartament znajduje się w spokojnej okolicy a dojście do głównych atrakcji nie zajmuje dużo czasu. Spędziliśmy cudowne chwile w Wenecji i w tym apartamencie. Bardzo polecamy pobyt tutaj i liczymy, że kiedyś jeszcze wrócimy. Dziękujemy 🙂
  
  What could be improved: Przez delikatnie uchylone okno wlatywały komary, które w nocy okazały małym utrapieniem. Niestety okno było na tyle wysoko że nie dało się go zamknąć.
