You’re still only a 15-minute walk to the Rialto Bridge, but you get to escape back to this quieter side of the city when the day-trippers head home. The neighborhood has this lived-in feel that the main tourist areas just can’t match, and honestly, that location score of 9.8 makes perfect sense once you’ve spent a few days here.

The Space Itself

Each apartment feels more like borrowing a friend’s place than staying in a hotel — and I mean that in the best way. The kitchen is actually functional (not just decorative like some places), so you can grab fresh ingredients from the Strada Nova market and cook dinner if you want. The room layouts vary, but they’ve all got these beautiful original details — exposed beams, terrazzo floors, windows that frame perfect little slices of Venetian life. You know what really impressed me? The way they’ve modernized everything without losing that authentic feel. The bathrooms are sleek and contemporary, but you’re still sleeping in a centuries-old building.

Daily Rhythms

Mornings here have this gentle pace that’s hard to find elsewhere in Venice. You’ll wake up to the sound of delivery boats puttering through the nearby canals rather than crowds of tourists. There’s a fantastic little restaurant called Osteria Al Bacco just around the corner — locals pack it for lunch, which is always a good sign. The area comes alive in the evenings when residents head out for their aperitivo, and you get to be part of that rhythm instead of just observing it. Parking isn’t really relevant here (it’s Venice, after all), but the water taxi stops are close enough that getting to and from the airport is surprisingly straightforward.

  Everything is this apartment was excellent. Big bedroom, very clean, comfortable bed and good shower. I loved the blackout curtains really dark. The staff is incredible kind and helpful. Keep check on us with prompt responses until we get into property which was around midnight.

  Perfect location in Cannaregio… close to everything and yet the apartments were down a cute alley (pictures) away from any noise—very quiet on the canal (Picture from room). There is a super cute communal outside space that connects to the canal, but it was too cold for us to use (pictures).

  Awesome apartment with comfy beds, beautifully clean and an excellent location. Very quiet, excellent bathroom and friendly staff. We stayed 5 nights as a family and could easily have stayed longer. Highly recommend this property.

  Very clean, very spacious, comfortable beds, great location, in a quiet spot but at the same time central. A big BRAVO to the hostess…. she was extremely helpful and polite!!!!!! Recommend it, especially for families!!!!
