B&B Beroni a Venezia Overview
First Impressions
Walking into B&B Beroni a Venezia feels like discovering a well-kept secret tucked away in the heart of San Polo. You know that feeling when you stumble upon something that’s clearly special but hasn’t been completely overrun by tourists yet? That’s exactly what this place delivers. The building itself has that authentic Venetian charm — you’re not getting some sanitized hotel experience here, but rather staying in what feels like a carefully restored piece of Venice history.
Location That Actually Matters
Here’s the thing about location in Venice — everyone claims to be “centrally located,” but this four-star gem actually delivers on that promise. You’re in San Polo, which honestly might be the sweet spot of the entire city. I mean, you can walk to the Rialto Bridge without fighting through the worst of the crowds, and the Santa Croce area gives you this perfect mix of local life and tourist accessibility. The fact that couples rate the location a perfect 10 tells you everything — when you’re trying to be romantic in Venice (and let’s face it, who isn’t?), you want to be able to slip away from the madness but still reach the iconic spots easily.
The Room Experience
What struck me most about my room was how they managed to blend Venetian character with actual comfort. You get those gorgeous period details — think exposed beams and traditional touches — but your bed is properly comfortable and the bathroom actually works well. The windows open onto views that remind you you’re really here, in this impossible floating city. It’s not massive by any means, but honestly, who spends time in their room in Venice anyway? You’ll have everything you need without feeling cramped.
Breakfast Worth Waking Up For
The breakfast situation here actually surprised me. They’ve got this continental spread that goes way beyond the usual sad hotel offerings — proper Italian options, vegetarian and vegan choices, even gluten-free items. What I appreciated most was sitting there in the morning, planning the day ahead while eating something that felt authentically local rather than generic hotel food. It’s served buffet-style, so you can take your time and fuel up properly before heading out to tackle Venice’s endless walking.
Why Guests Love It
That perfect 10 rating isn’t just a fluke — this place gets the details right in ways that matter when you’re actually traveling. The location score of 9.9 means you’re genuinely well-positioned to explore without the exhaustion that comes from staying somewhere poorly located. The staff clearly knows Venice well and can point you toward experiences beyond the obvious tourist traps. Plus, there’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that feels authentically Venetian rather than like a chain hotel that could be anywhere. When you’re investing in a Venice trip, you want to feel like you’re really experiencing the city — and B&B Beroni delivers that without sacrificing the comfort you need after long days of exploration.

The place was beautiful, and the hosts were both welcoming and went above and beyond in helping us settle into Venice and setting up the rest of the trip. It was probably the best place we stayed during our 5-week tout. I enthusiastically recommend it.

The entire stay was perfect, from the moment we were greeted at the door, to when Matteo graciously sent us off at the water taxi we were taken care of for every minute of our stay. Mrs. Elisabetta and Matteo were absolutely the best hosts that you can ask for. The bed and breakfast was stunningly beautiful and meticulously clean. The communication with the host was wonderful, whenever we needed anything we were able to communicate directly with the host and receive a reply right away. Matteo was the perfect ambassador for Venice and even took us on a tour of the city on the first day. If you visit Venice and you want to stay in a prime location with knowledgeable and personable hosts in a beautiful home do not hesitate to book this bed and breakfast.
