The Room Experience

The room I stayed in had this lovely canal view — not the Grand Canal itself, but one of those charming side canals where you can watch the gondoliers navigate the tight corners. The decor strikes this nice balance between traditional Venetian style and modern comfort. You’ll find rich fabrics and period furniture, but also things that actually matter like good lighting and a bathroom that works properly (which, trust me, isn’t always a given in Venice’s historic buildings). The beds are genuinely comfortable too, which is something I always worry about in boutique places.

Dining & Amenities

While there isn’t a full restaurant on-site, the breakfast setup they have is actually quite charming — served in this intimate space that feels more like someone’s elegant dining room than a hotel breakfast area. The staff really knows their stuff about local dining recommendations too, and they steered me toward some fantastic bacari (those little Venetian wine bars) that I never would have found on my own. The whole property has this intimate, almost residential feel that makes you feel like you’re staying at a well-connected friend’s place rather than just another hotel.

  We rented the apartment with a terrace for our wedding anniversary. Antonio could not have been more helpful in making us comfortable. The view from the apartment is second to none, – you are almost part of the grand canal. Thank-you for a lovely stay.

  At check we met Anthony- he was such a gentleman, settling us in to the beautiful property and answering all our questions.
  He was such a delight! He made our stay in Venice very memorable! The property has an amazing view of the Canal and its proximity to the little shoppes and cafes made the stay a breeze! Truly a wonderful place with wonderful staff.

  Location was exceptional! We enjoyed stunning views from the apartment and terrace. Plenty of room for 6 adult family members. The host made it easy to check in and out and also store luggage on our departure day. We would stay here again and highly recommend the apartment with terrace for larger family groups. Being November, Venice was not terribly busy which made our visit even more magical.
  
  What could be improved: The showerhead in the hallway bathroom didn't fit properly in the fixture and it was extremely difficult to use plus the shower itself was tiny (and we aren't big people) and water leaked out onto the floor. We managed but this is certainly an area for improvement.

  the patio overlooking the canal will forever be in my heart! all free time until we slept and walked we enjoyed the view of passing boats and gundoles This is a super-historical place with its own pier We called a taxi straight home
