You’ve got local bacari (wine bars) around the corner, the morning fish market is a short stroll away, and — this is key — you can actually navigate the streets without getting swept up in tour groups.

Actually, one of my favorite discoveries was how easy it is to walk to Piazzale Roma from here — super handy if you’re arriving by car or bus. The neighborhood has this lived-in feel where you’ll see locals hanging laundry and chatting with neighbors, which you just don’t get in the more touristy areas.

  What an amazing stay . As you enter the apartment you have a Wow felling and you are spoiled by the beautiful and spacious property .
  The rooms are large and very very clean . My wife is very picky but on this occasion she felt special and really enjoyed staying here .
  The most amazing room is the living room that felt posh and vintage decorated . We were very happy to stay here , all family really enjoyed it .
  The canal is outside your window , you get to see gondolas and boats going around .
  The host Francesco was brilliant too , contacted us before with all the information we needed , happy to answer our questions .
  Only thing I could advise bring some slippers as even though the floor was heated myself I don’t like walking barefoot .

  The canal views from this apartment are amazing. We so enjoyed sitting in the living room and watching gondolas cruise by when taking a break from sightseeing. The high ceilings and Venetian decor paired with the lovely updated bathroom and large shower all contribute to the appeal of this apartment.
  I was worried about the potential for damp with this being so close to the canals but that wasn’t an issue at all. If there was one thing that was less than perfect about this rental it would be the mattresses. The king mattress was very firm. That said, after a long day of exploring the city we were still able to get a good nights sleep. Oh—and bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. The proximity to canals means you get early morning delivery boats motoring by. We didn’t find this to be too disruptive and definitely a worthwhile price to pay for the views!

  Excellent location, relatively quiet given we visited during the Carnival period. Short walk's distance from almost everything one must see when visiting Venice. The apartment itself was impeccable, both aesthetically and in terms of comfort and organising. Francesco was a very friendly, helpful and welcoming host. Would go back any time!

  Amazing rooms, giving a very venetian feel during our stay. The location was very good making it easy to get to each attraction. Clean rooms. Great view out of the window.

  An airy apartment with high ceilings in an Incredible location, on the canal. Very comfortable and Francesco was around to answer questions when needed. We really enjoyed spending time here in the evenings and afternoons. The local area is quiet with a good range of restaurants and a useful little Co-op. Quick walk to San Stae for the vaporetto. Would come back and stay in the same apartment.
  
  What could be improved: You can sometimes hear people in the apartment above, but they mostly respect the quiet time between 10pm – 8am.

  The property manager Francesco met us near the train station and walked with us to our apartment and gave us all the helpful information ie grocery stores nearby and recommended restaurants. The apartment had a nice terrace balcony to sit outside and enjoy the view of the canals below.
