My room was compact but thoughtfully designed — they’ve clearly put effort into maximizing every inch without making it feel cramped. The windows opened onto a typical Venetian courtyard, and while it wasn’t a canal view, there’s something peaceful about hearing normal neighborhood sounds instead of constant tourist chatter. The bathroom was modern and well-maintained, which honestly matters more than you’d think when you’re staying in a historic building. Air conditioning worked perfectly, which — trust me — you’ll appreciate during summer months. The kitchenette provided convenient access to prepare light meals or store refreshments, complete with essential appliances and quality fixtures.

When I needed restaurant recommendations, they suggested places where locals eat rather than the obvious tourist traps.   This flat is spectacular–in location, comfort, views through the window, convenience, and graciousness of the host. We absolutely loved staying here and found it a perfectly located and beautiful flat for traveling around Venice and the islands. Quiet, yet easy to access anything you would want to see in Venice. The vaporetto system is wonderful and so efficient. The host is super organized and we are grateful for the extra work she did in helping us with various things before and during our trip.   Elisa was an exceptional host. She meet us at the boat station to take us to the apartment and was very generous with her time showing us the apartment and then went through all the local shops and restaurants etc.
  She was always available and booked a water taxis for us when it was need.

  Fantastic place to stay when visiting Venice. Walkable to get everywhere in the city. Elise is a superb host. Clear directions on how to get to Allilaguna Fondamente Nuovo dock and she even met us to take us to the apartment. If coming from airport no bridges crossed to get to apartment. If coming from train station, short walk with one bridge to cross. View of lagoon and ferry boats is so great. Also on sunny days can see snowy mountains in the distance – phenomenal view. Visited Venice in January, which is excellent time to go as no crowds. All you need is a warm jacket, gloves and hat. Apartment, 1 bedroom, is even better in real life than in photos. Wonderful closet space – one for me and separate for husband. Plus wood shelves in bedroom for toiletries. Clothes washer is huge plus and in January the heating radiators dry your clothes quickly. Elise has wonderful suggestions for excellent restaurants. Conareggio neighborhood is great to stay in as out of touristy area and get real feel for Venice. Walking is best way to see Venice and nothing was too far from the apartment. Venice is especially beautiful at night when days are shorter.

  Elisa and Silvia were perfect hosts. They greeted us on arrival at Fondamente Nove pier and showed us to our apartment. Elisa even met us at 4.15am on our departure day to make sure we made our Alilaguna transfer to the airport. The apartment itself was fantastic. Spotlessly clean, very peaceful and well appointed. The location is perfect – away from the hustle and bustle of St Marks Square but easy walking distance to all the major attractions and handy for the airport ferry and boats to the other islands. The local area has plenty of options for bars and restaurants that were less hectic than in the more touristy arears. We will definitely return.

  It’s the best I’ve stayed in Italy! The view of the apartment was amazing, the place was very clean. The location was right in front of the dock to get water boat to get to the airport (or from airport), hence there’s no need to drag luggage across all the bridges and lanes in Venice. Elisa was super helpful and greeted me on arrival. I would highly recommend this place and definitely will stay here again if I’m back in Venice
