Hotel Description
Welcome to the exquisite Fraivolti apartment, a distinguished 4-star accommodation nestled in the heart of Venice’s charming San Polo district. This refined establishment stands as a testament to Venetian elegance, offering discerning travelers an authentic taste of Italian luxury. Located at 2837 Calle dei Volti, this apartment finds itself perfectly positioned in one of Venice’s most historic and vibrant neighborhoods. San Polo, the smallest of Venice’s six sestieri (districts), is renowned for its picturesque squares, magnificent architecture, and artisanal boutiques. The Fraivolti apartment’s strategic location places guests within walking distance of the iconic Rialto Bridge, which has spanned the Grand Canal since the 16th century, and the bustling Rialto Market, where locals have gathered for fresh produce, seafood, and Venetian specialties for centuries. With an exceptional guest rating of 9.7, this gem of a property has consistently delighted visitors with its impeccable service, attention to detail, and authentic Venetian charm, establishing itself as one of the most highly-regarded accommodations in the city.
The Fraivolti apartment seamlessly blends traditional Venetian aesthetics with modern comforts, creating an ambiance that is both timeless and contemporary. Guests find themselves immersed in a world where ornate architectural details harmonize with tasteful furnishings and state-of-the-art amenities. The apartment’s windows frame quintessential Venetian vistas: narrow canals with gondolas gliding silently by, centuries-old buildings in warm terracotta and ochre hues, and glimpses of daily Venetian life unfolding along the calli (streets) below. San Polo’s central location means that guests at Fraivolti apartment enjoy the dual advantage of being steps away from major attractions while also experiencing the authentic Venice that exists beyond the main tourist paths. The nearby Campo San Polo, the second-largest square in Venice after Piazza San Marco, offers a spacious respite from the city’s narrower streets and hosts various events throughout the year, from summer film festivals to winter ice skating.
What truly sets the Fraivolti apartment apart, as reflected in its outstanding 9.7 rating, is its commitment to providing an immersive Venetian experience. Unlike standard hotel accommodations, this apartment allows guests to feel like temporary residents of Venice, shopping at local markets, dining at neighborhood restaurants favored by Venetians, and discovering hidden campi (squares) and sottoportegi (passageways) that only reveal themselves to those who venture off the beaten path. The apartment serves as an ideal base for exploring Venice’s cultural treasures – from the grand palazzos along the Grand Canal to the masterpieces housed in the Gallerie dell’Accademia and the Scuola Grande di San Rocco, home to Tintoretto’s most magnificent works. After days spent navigating Venice’s labyrinthine streets and bridges, guests return to the tranquil comfort of Fraivolti, where they can reflect on their discoveries while enjoying the distinctive character and superior amenities that have earned this exceptional property its stellar reputation among travelers seeking an authentic and luxurious Venetian sojourn.

The apartment was in a great area with everything easily accessible. The apartment also had every modern convenience needed for a great vacation. Marco really thought of everything and has very clear communication which I appreciated. everything was very clean and the are is safe. I would recommend Marco and his apartment with ten stars and would not hesitate to stay again.
What could be improved: I liked everything, but of course it’s Europe so I always miss dryers for clothes and elevators. lolSarah from United Kingdom – 24 April 2024 (9/10)
Very convenient and good for two colleagues as two independent suites
What could be improved: Very little common space . No hanging space for dresses, which was strange , as there is a lot of closet space – none of which is right size for dresses , so I had to hang mine in bathroom . It would be very easy to add hooks or rails where women can hang dresses . Also need more shower gel and soap for longer stays . And face cloths would be helpful.Natalie from United Kingdom – 5 April 2024 (10/10)
We were warmly welcomed by Marco, the apartment is small but immaculate and had everything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble, Marco lives in the downstairs apartment and is on hand anytime. Communication from the start of our booking until the end of our trip has been exceptional.

Everything great! Apartment was spotless, very clean! He provides amenities, Nespresso coffee, water, and kitchen is fully equipped.
Location is convenient because you are close (10-15 minute walk) to main attractions but in a peaceful place. There are restaurants, coffee shops and a mini market (3 minutes away). Also, you are 3 minutes away from the dock where you can get the taxi boats and Vaporetto.
Host is very kind, and friendly; and communication was easy. He kindly helped us arranging a taxi for our departure because there was a main event at the grand canal and it was closed.

This apartment was by far the best accommodation of our visit to Italy. It was more expensive than other apartments that we booked (in Milan, Verona, and Lake Como), but well worth it. It was beautifully decorated, very clean, and very comfortable. I appreciated the small toiletry items (shampoo, lotion, etc.) in the bathroom, as well as all the necessary basics in the kitchen. It was really like staying in two hotel rooms connected by a well-appointed kitchen. Marco, the host, was extremely responsive, answering all of my questions/needs via WhatsApp within a few minutes. For example, when I needed to find a luggage strap, he not only recommended a store but also called them first to confirm that they had it and the price. When we arrived, the room wasn't quite ready, but Marco not only put our luggage in the room, but also put away some food items we'd brought with us into the refrigerator and cabinets. The apartment building and apartment were accessible with a code, which was convenient. The apartment is located in the San Polo neighborhood, very close to the Frari Church. It didn't feel touristy, but it was still close to restaurants, cafes, and bars. We took a morning gondola ride from Frari Church, which I highly recommend if you are wanting a more peaceful ride along the smaller canals. I will definitely be coming back to Venice and will book this apartment again!
What could be improved: Nothing. The apartment, host, and location were perfect.Greg from Canada – 20 June 2023 (10/10)
Everything. Marco was fantastic from beginning to end… Apt was awesome nothing was missing everything was thought out in putting this apt together. If in Venice a must stay…. 10 out of 10….

Great location and beautiful apartment. Perfectly suited for a small group of people, who like to share kitchen space, but prefer to have a completely separate bedroom/bathroom.
What could be improved: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found no downsides to this space.Manjit from United Kingdom – 24 February 2023 (10/10)
excellent location and a homely feel. the cleanliness was 10/10, bathrooms especially
it also felt safe
the host Marco was just the best, extremely helpful with luggage and places to go and always available to message. made us feel very welcome
What could be improved: a tough one to find a negative, the woman in the convenience shop around the corner overcharged 12euros on a handful of items, could tell it wasnt a mistake on her part, just something she does on the regular. she refunded me when i brought it up. a few cans of coke and coffee and sweets was charged at 24euros!! so be aware
