Here’s the thing about staying on Giudecca — it’s not just about avoiding crowds (though that’s a nice bonus). The views across to the main island are absolutely stunning, especially during sunset when the light hits all those palazzo facades. You can walk to the Redentore church in about five minutes, and there’s something really peaceful about having the Giudecca Canal as your front yard. Plus, couples seem to really get this place — there’s something undeniably romantic about having your own little corner of Venice to retreat to after a day of sightseeing.

  The view from the main room with the sea and San Marco square across is just incredible. The location near the traghetto and grocery store as well as restaurant and cafes in the Guidecca is perfect to visit Venice in a less visited setting. The interior is decorated with taste as an eclectic mix of original antiques and chic 80’s-90’s furniture and remodel.
  
  What could be improved: We are probably special in the sense that we do not like AC at night so the lack of screens on windows allows mosquitoes in. Also with windows open the vicinity of the traghetto is super noisy.
  The third room feels a little cave-like and does not have its own bathroom.

  La posizione ottima anche se sulla Giudecca, perchè comunque ha una vista su Venezia bellissima ed essendo a 20 metri dalla fermata di Redentore, in pochi minuti si può andare dalla parte opposta. La casa ha praticamente qualsiasi cosa di cui si può aver bisogno.
  
  What could be improved: Certo non si può fare a meno dell'abbonamento ai traghetti e se ci sono problemi di mare potrebbe essere un problema. Si sviluppa su 3 piani di scale, quindi per alcuni può risultare faticosa.

  The apartment is located on the island of Giudecca and has a beautiful view over Venice. It is very clean and has a beautiful decor. The only drawback is the steep stairs, but when you don't have small children it's not a problem. Marta is very kind and takes care of all requests efficiently.
