Oh man, it’s served in this sunlit courtyard garden that’s pure magic in the quieter off-season months, like October when the fog rolls in and everything’s hushed. Croissants flaky as anything, prosciutto sliced thin, and coffee that actually wakes you up – none of that weak tourist stuff. The Wi-Fi’s solid, which mattered for me working remotely, and there’s no parking hassle because, well, cars don’t exist here; just arrange a water taxi from the airport if you’re not up for the train-vaporetto combo. One minor gripe: the air conditioning can be a tad noisy in summer, but with the rating at 9.6, it’s clear most folks don’t mind.

Look, if you’re after a Venice stay that feels authentic – not some chain hotel plopped in the middle of the chaos – this is it. It’s got that perfect balance of luxury and lived-in charm, and being in Cannaregio means you’re close to real spots like the Jewish Ghetto for a history fix or quick bites at unpretentious osterias. I left feeling like I’d actually experienced the city, not just ticked it off a list. Worth every euro, especially if you book early for those canal-view rooms – they go fast in high season.

  The property was very clean and unique. It is further from the city centre but it is quiet and peaceful. Will stay again! Highly recommended! The restaurants recommended by the hotel was also lively and delicious!
