Joy Rialto Rooms Venice Overview
First Impressions
Walking through the narrow streets of Cannaregio to find Joy Rialto Rooms Venice feels like you’re discovering a hidden gem that most tourists never stumble upon. This three-star property sits tucked away on Salizada San Giovanni Grisostomo, and honestly, the location couldn’t be better if you tried. You’re literally steps from the Rialto Bridge but far enough from the main tourist chaos to actually get some sleep at night.
The Cannaregio Advantage
Here’s what I love about staying in Venice — you can be in the heart of everything while still feeling like you’ve found your own little corner of the city. The Joy Rialto sits in this perfect sweet spot where you can walk to San Marco in about ten minutes, but you’re also surrounded by authentic Venetian life. There’s a fantastic bacaro just around the corner where locals actually drink their morning coffee, and the small campo nearby has this relaxed vibe that’s hard to find near the major attractions.
The Room Experience
The rooms here are what you’d expect from a well-run three-star in Venice — compact but thoughtfully designed. My room had this charming view of a quiet canal, and you know what? Sometimes those smaller waterways are more magical than the Grand Canal anyway. The beds are comfortable enough, and the bathrooms are modern, which honestly matters more than you think when you’re dealing with Venice’s older buildings. Air conditioning works well too, which is crucial if you’re visiting during summer months.
Getting Around
The location really shines when it comes to exploring the city. You’re close enough to walk everywhere that matters, but here’s the insider tip — the Fondamenta delle Misericordie is just a few minutes away, and it’s become this amazing evening spot where young Venetians hang out along the water. During the day, you can easily reach the Jewish Quarter, which is one of the most underrated parts of Cannaregio. The vaporetto stops are accessible, but honestly, you probably won’t need them much since everything’s walkable from here.
Why Guests Love It
Recent guests have been rating this place highly, and I can see why — it’s that rare combination of great location without the tourist trap pricing. Couples especially seem to appreciate the romantic setting, and I mean, there’s something special about having your own quiet corner in Venice while still being able to pop over to Rialto Market for fresh ingredients or grab a quick bite near the bridge. The staff knows the neighborhood well and can point you toward those hidden gems that make Venice feel less like a museum and more like a living city. It’s not fancy, but it gets the essentials right, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need.
Early hotels booking in Venice secures balcony seats for Vogalonga regattas and torchlit basilica tours.

Spacious apartment, cleaned daily, comfortable bedLuana from United Kingdom – 15 April 2024 (7/10)
I really like the position and the daily cleaning.
The position is few minutes from Rialto, and surrendered by many traditional places where to try cicchetti. Also the staff communication is clear and prompt. The self check-in was super easy.
What could be improved: Probably I would suggest to change the mini fridge not super efficient.Amina from Oman – 31 December 2023 (6/10)
Excellent location in the heart of Venice.
What could be improved: There is no elevator for the luggage, we had to carry our luggage to the second floor.Culm from Ireland – 8 November 2023 (8/10)
Location was perfect, great value for money. Bathroom was spotless.
What could be improved: A microwave and a better fridge that was provided whole have made a big difference to our stay. More hangers for clothes. A larger dressing table. TV screen was very small.Alberto from Mexico – 10 September 2023 (8/10)

Location.
What could be improved: It was a little hard to find. We wandered around for a while. More detailed information on the side alley it is in would help. Thank goodness for Google maps!
