First Impressions

When I first pulled up to Luxury Camp at Union Lido, I’ll admit I was curious about how they’d pull off the whole “luxury camping” concept. Well, they absolutely nailed it — this five-star property manages to blend that outdoor adventure vibe with genuine sophistication in a way that actually works. The setting along Via Fausta immediately caught my attention, with its prime position that puts you right in the heart of the Venetian coastline without feeling crowded or touristy.

Location & Surroundings

You know what really struck me about Cavallino-Treporti? It’s got this perfect balance where you’re close enough to Venice for day trips but far enough away to escape the chaos. The location here is honestly exceptional — I mean, couples consistently rate it 9.0 out of 10, and after spending time here, I totally get why. You’ve got the Adriatic Sea practically at your doorstep, plus there’s a golf course within two miles if that’s your thing. The free private parking was a lifesaver too, especially since parking can be such a headache in this part of Italy.

Accommodations & Amenities

The luxury tents (or whatever you want to call these elevated camping setups) surprised me with how spacious and well-appointed they are. I was expecting something more rustic, but these accommodations deliver genuine comfort with that outdoor twist. The fitness center is actually pretty well-equipped, and the tennis court gets decent use from guests — I saw people playing most evenings I was there. What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to create this upscale camping experience without losing the connection to nature that makes glamping appealing in the first place.

Dining Experience

Breakfast here is honestly one of the highlights — they’ve got this incredible spread that covers just about every preference you could imagine. Continental, Italian, full English, American, even vegan options and breakfast to go if you’re planning an early adventure. I found myself going back for seconds (okay, maybe thirds) of their Italian offerings, which felt authentically local rather than just hotel food. The buffet setup works well, and the quality is definitely what you’d expect from a five-star property.

Why Guests Love It

There’s something special about this place that goes beyond the luxury amenities — it’s the way they’ve created this unique experience that feels both indulgent and adventurous. The 8.9 rating makes perfect sense when you experience how thoughtfully everything is designed, from the location that gives you easy access to both beach and cultural attractions, to the way the staff genuinely seems to care about your experience. It’s particularly popular with couples, and I can see why — there’s this romantic element to luxury camping that regular hotels just can’t match, especially when you’re this close to Venice and the Italian coast.

  The staff at Luxary camp was absolutely amazing! They all went above and beyond to make it an unforgettable family vacation. The little details and extra attention was without compare. I'd highly recommend staying here!
  
  What could be improved: The only negative thing was that we couldn't stay longer. I'd definitely book for more than just two nights. There is so much to see and do here!

  La struttura è completa. C’è di tutto. Molta organizzazione. Pranzi e cene senza lunghe attese. Tutto il personale cortese in ogni angolo del villaggio.
  
  What could be improved: Della struttura nessuna nota negativa da raccontare. Unica pecca il pesce. In alcuni ristoranti dicono essere fresco ma non sembrava affatto così. Ottimo il ristorante “il Borgo”. Cibo e presentazione piatti ottimi.

  Amazing facilities, beautiful landscaping, lots of water activities between the water parks and the beach, very convenient camping shops, groceries and restaurants, well deserved 5 star resort.
  
  What could be improved: We kept losing the bracelets, and had to replace 2 at the cost of €30. This is easy to fix, please get rid of those green bracelets in favour of permanent ones that need to be cut like most resorts do.

  I recently stayed at the Luxury Camp at Union Lido, and I can’t say enough about how wonderful our experience was! The campsite is absolutely perfect for families with small children. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for.
  
  The accommodations at the Luxury Camp were exceptional. The tents were spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. It truly felt like a home away from home, with all the amenities we needed to make our stay enjoyable.
  
  What truly stood out, however, was the staff. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any request. Their dedication to making our stay memorable was evident in every interaction.
  
  The camping itself offered plenty of activities and facilities to keep both children and adults entertained. We loved the variety of options available, ensuring that everyone had something to enjoy.
  
  Overall, our time at Union Lido was fantastic, and we are already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you to the entire team at Luxury Camp for providing such a memorable experience!

  The accommodation was spacious (for a "mobile home"), new, and clean, it had all the amenities we needed. The environment was nice, with a meandering path lined with flowerbeds. The camping site itself was great, with lots of things to do to keep the kids busy (especially the bigger of the two water parks), we never even went to the neighboring villages. The staff were always friendly and helpful.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing much. The automated watering system for the gardens was constantly making some slightly annoying sounds that could be heard from the parent's bedroom and we could have used some more shelving space in the living room. The pitch is a few hundred meters from the beach on the "road side" of the camping site, but not really a problem for us and there was the standing offer of being driven to the beach.

  It is well organized camp. Very clean and comfortable. Beautiful atmosphere around – smell of fresh cotted grass and flowers. Logistic at the territory – excellent. Best for family you can find. Friendly staff and always helpful.
  
  What could be improved: When you check-in, you have to give your passport to reception and they will keep it for the whole entire of stay. This things are illegal, as passport belong to person that is issued.

  Excellent staff who helped us in all matters, from check-in to arranging transport at night after the check-out to the camping gate. Also, this camping has its own private beach, which we could not visit due to the weather. I highly recommend this campsite, I think this is the best option that can be found in Union Lido.

  Union Lido campsite is the best we have ever stayed at. Several restaurants on site to choose from, lots of activities for kids on site, fruit shop with lovely fruits, supermarket had all we needed. Staffs at Luxury camp were super nice and helpful. This was the best experience our family ever had. Definitely recommend this campsite and will definitely stay here again.
