The Rooms

The rooms here are what I’d call “thoughtfully Venetian” — you get the period details like exposed beams and original terrazzo floors, but everything’s been updated in a way that actually works for modern travelers. The bathrooms are surprisingly spacious for Venice standards, and the beds are genuinely comfortable (not always a given in historic Italian properties, if I’m being honest). What really struck me was the attention to sound insulation — you’d think being so central would mean noise, but the windows do their job well.

Daily Life at the Hotel

Breakfast happens in this lovely little courtyard when weather permits, and it’s one of those moments where you remember why you came to Venice in the first place. The staff — and this matters more in Venice than anywhere else — actually know the city. They’ll tell you which vaporetto stop to use for different destinations, or suggest a bacaro that’s not overrun with tourists. There’s no restaurant on-site for dinner, but honestly, you’re in Venice — you want to be out exploring the neighborhood anyway.

  Die Wohnung ist sehr hübsch eingerichtet, es ist alles vorhanden, was es braucht. Die Lage des Palazzos ist ideal für Venedig. Ein Minimarket in der Nähe sorgt für einfaches Einkaufen. Der Anschluss an das Hotel und die Betreuung durch das Personal top.

  Super zentral, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Die Schlüsselübergabe war einfach und das betreuende Hotel kümmert sich bei allen Anfragen sehr schnell und kooperativ. Selbst der anfallende Hausmüll wird täglich abgeholt.
