Here’s what I love about the location — you’re in Venice‘s heart without being stuck in the absolute chaos of St. Mark’s Square (though you can walk there in about five minutes when you want to). Campo Sant’Angelo is one of those perfect Venetian squares where locals actually hang out, not just tourists taking selfies. There’s a little café right on the campo where you can grab morning coffee, and honestly, watching the neighborhood wake up from there is worth the early alarm. Couples seem to absolutely love this spot — I can see why, given how romantic those evening strolls along the nearby canals get.

The Suites Experience

The room I stayed in was spacious by Venice standards, which actually means something here where most hotels cram you into glorified closets.
