Check-in was a breeze; the staff (a mix of Venetians who actually live here year-round) handed over the keys with a casual chat about avoiding the high-water alerts in November – practical stuff that made me feel like I wasn’t just another tourist.

  Lots of room, great part of town, not too far from the big Doge Palace and St. Mark’s basilica. Grocery store not too far, plenty of room for a family of six. Would recommend.

  Marcos directions that enabled us to get to apt without using stairs were truly life saving in a very busy Venice in the rain with 5 people and luggage.
