San Cassiano jacuzzi Overview
First Impressions
Walking through the narrow streets of San Polo to reach San Cassiano jacuzzi honestly feels like you’re being let in on Venice’s best-kept secret. This four-star boutique property sits tucked away on a quiet fondamenta, and I mean quiet by Venice standards — you’ll still hear the occasional water taxi, but it’s worlds away from the tourist chaos around San Marco. The entrance is understated in that perfectly Venetian way, where you know something special is waiting behind an unassuming door.
Location Magic
You know what really struck me about this place? It’s positioned right in the heart of Venice but feels completely residential. San Polo 1825 puts you within walking distance of the Rialto Bridge — actually, it’s about a five-minute stroll — but you’re staying where locals actually live and work. There’s a fantastic bacaro just around the corner that most tourists never find, and the morning produce boats still dock nearby. Couples absolutely love this spot, and honestly, I get it — there’s something incredibly romantic about having your own little corner of Venice while still being steps from everything that matters.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in had this perfect blend of Venetian character and modern comfort that’s surprisingly hard to find in the city. Original exposed beams, terrazzo floors that have probably seen centuries of stories, but also proper air conditioning and a bathroom that actually works well. And then there’s the jacuzzi — which, let’s be real, is why most people book this place. After a long day of walking Venice’s endless bridges and getting delightfully lost in its maze of streets, sinking into that warm water while looking out at the canal views is pretty much perfect. The water pressure is solid too, which anyone who’s stayed in historic Venice properties will appreciate.
Neighborhood Charm
What I really love about staying in San Polo is how it feels like the “real” Venice, if there is such a thing anymore. You’ll wake up to the sound of delivery boats rather than tour groups, and the local shops actually sell things that Venetians need, not just carnival masks and glass trinkets. The nearby Rialto market is incredible in the mornings — grab some fresh fruit and maybe a coffee from one of the stands. There’s also this tiny osteria about two minutes away where the owner will probably remember your order by the second night, assuming you’re staying long enough to become a temporary regular.
Why Guests Love It
Look, Venice can be overwhelming, and finding a place that gives you both authenticity and comfort isn’t always easy. San Cassiano jacuzzi manages to hit that sweet spot where you feel like you’re experiencing the real city without sacrificing the amenities that make a trip memorable. The location score of 9.5 isn’t just numbers — it reflects how this place puts you right in the middle of everything while giving you a peaceful retreat to return to. Whether you’re planning romantic evenings or just want a base for exploring that doesn’t feel like a tourist trap, this little gem delivers exactly what Venice should be about.

Nice room, kind host, perfect location. We enjoyed the jakuzzi and the breakfast basket. And the best of all: we did not have to check out in the morning on our last day, thank you Alessandro!

Isabella and Alessandro were immediately responsive to questions and provided excellent instructions on which water ferry to take from train station. Isabella met us at the water ferry stop to ensure we easily found the property. Our room was the 2nd floor, so luggage had to be lugged up the narrow stairs but once in the room it was very comfortable. The jacuzzi tub was great to relax muscles tired after exploring all day. Nice breakfast items are left in your room each day and then fresh pastries delivered to your door each morning! Yummy!! Location was great and allowed easy walking to major sights. Very quiet location! A/C was great!
What could be improved: Our room’s location meant our door faced directly across from another room. Because halls are narrow, it felt a bit odd to be so close to other room. But never had issue, just was a bit surprising.Michaela from Australia – 3 September 2023 (10/10)
We were greeted by Alice, who was so lovely and helpful with great tips on what to do in Venice. And the room was so beautiful, and the inclusion of fruit and breakfast basket was great for travellers. Great location for walking around the island.
Highly recommended.

Great accommodation, high quality and spacious room in a quiet location, yet so close to centre of the city and the fresh pastries every morning at breakfast were a lovely touch! Alessandro was a fantastic host meeting us at the nearest vaparetto stop and showing us to the B&B. He also and gave us loads of great hints and tips to get the best out of our visit. Would definitely recommend!

The location was perfect. The hosts were so helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time in Venice. The jacuzzi tub was so nice after a long day of exploring!
What could be improved: The bed could have been a little more comfortable.Valentin from Bulgaria – 15 February 2023 (10/10)
Absolutely perfect. Such a luxery in this old Venezian building. Alessandro helped us to find it easily. He gave us some useful tips for exploring Venice. Our stay in Venice was a fairy tail.

Located close to the main city attractions, this small hotel gives you a wonderful opportunity to stay in Venice. Very friendly owner meets guests personally and provides a useful intro to the city sightseeing, places to visit and eat. Breakfast box is included and gives you everything to start the day full of energy: fruits, juise, tee or coffee, and of course fresh croissants.
Some rooms have a jacuzzi, that helps you to relax after walking the city.Julie from United Kingdom – 6 June 2022 (10/10)
perfect location, comfortable bed, immaculately clean, everything you could possibly need and more. The care and attention to detail in the property was amazing. wish we could of stayed longer.
Allasandro and Caterina were just amazing, they gave us so much information from how best to arrive and see Venice and their assistance was greatly appreciated. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to return one day.
