The building itself has that authentic Venetian charm you’re hoping for, but without feeling like a museum piece.

The Heart of Venice

You know what’s actually impressive about this place? It’s positioned so perfectly in Venice that you can literally walk to St. Mark’s Square in minutes, but somehow it doesn’t feel touristy or overwhelming. The San Marco neighborhood here is the real deal — you’ll find yourself wandering down narrow alleys that lead to hidden campos and stumbling across locals’ favorite bacari (wine bars) just around the corner. I’ve stayed in Venice before, and finding a spot that gives you this level of access while maintaining that intimate feel is pretty rare.

The Space Itself

The room — well, it’s more like an apartment really — has this wonderful blend of traditional Venetian elements and modern comfort that actually works. Think exposed beams and period details, but with updated bathrooms and reliable WiFi (trust me, that matters when you’re trying to share those canal photos). The windows open onto views that remind you exactly why you came to Venice in the first place. It’s not huge, but it’s thoughtfully designed, and honestly, you’re not going to spend much time inside anyway with all of Venice waiting outside your door.

  The property was absolutely beautiful. Spacious clean and the roof top terrace was a real added bonus looking over the roof tops and snow covered mountains in the distance.A private water taxi was organised by the hosts in advance and then we were me at our taxi stop on arrival by Diletta who took us to apartment . They booked return taxi too. All very efficient and helpful!!

  We stayed in the house as 4 people and we fit the house perfectly as it was spacious. The location of the house was great too. Also, the terrace was very nice.
  
  What could be improved: The heater of the one room was not working so we were cold the first night. Yet, it was fixed the next day. The fast responsiveness of the host/company was great.

  Wow, what a property! What a city! We booked to celebrate my youngest reaching 21 and eldest child graduating their MA. We received Incredibly professional communication from booking to the point of our departure. We felt very welcome in the city. The property is absolutely beautiful and in a convenient location to discovery this unique and beautiful city, restaurants, wonderful shopping and all the major sights are in easy walking distance. The appartment is unique, furnished to a high standard, spacious and very well equipped. We enjoyed breakfast on the terrace and later in the early evening for Aperitifs. The hosts organised a water taxi for our arrival. We received a friendly welcome quayside and were helped to the appartment which was a short and convenient walk. I can certainly recommend a private transfer from the airport for a wonderful and fun start to your trip. We are fortunate to travel a great deal, and have enjoyed staying in stunning properties and locations around the world. We own our own holiday home in a beautiful European city so we have pretty high standards, but we all agreed this is probably one of our favourite properties and cities we have stayed in. I really recommend this property.

  The apartment was super, with plenty of room for 4 guests. We appreciated the artwork, books and antiques, the sitting room was very good and the sofas were large and super comfy, the outside decking area was great, as was the location. We would love to go again!
  
  What could be improved: Very little, but coasters to save the marble top table and there was a tilt top side table with the wifi router on that was not secure, so there was a danger that a wine glass could spill onto the lovely silk sofa. We liked everything and just wanted to make sure it stayed lovely for the next guests.

  Very beautifully decorated appartement in a classical style. We wanted to experience the Venetian lifestyle and thisis the reason we rented this particular place. Terrace a great plus.
  
  What could be improved: Kitchen is understocked, no knives that really cut for example. But not dramatic. The appartement while beautiful is darker than we would have liked and ceilings are a bit low. But beautiful!
