  Leafy, romantic setting away from Venice yet near enough that you could go there for the afternoon / evening. The food at the Villa Franceschi was delicious and well-presented. Service top-notch throughout. I can highly recommend this place. The nearby village of Mira (only a short walk away) is charming too.
  
  What could be improved: Our only annoyance was that the pool was still closed although when we touched the water it was really perfect. It may have been early-May but definitely warm enough to swim. Should be an option for those who don't need the water to be >25C.
