What I really appreciated was being able to grab morning coffee at actual neighborhood bars where you’ll hear more Italian than English — that’s pretty rare in central Venice these days.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was compact but thoughtfully arranged, which is pretty much what you’d expect from a well-run Venetian guesthouse. The windows opened onto a quiet courtyard, and honestly, after walking around the city all day, that peaceful atmosphere was exactly what I needed. The furnishings felt authentic rather than trying to recreate some fantasy version of Venice — simple wooden pieces, decent lighting for reading, and a bathroom that actually had proper water pressure (trust me, that’s not always a given in these old buildings).

Neighborhood Life

What really sets this place apart is how it connects you to actual Venetian life. There’s a fantastic local restaurant just two streets over that I never would have found if I’d been staying near the Rialto, and the morning walk to the vaporetto stop takes you past workshops where craftspeople are still making things by hand. The area feels residential in the best way — you’ll see kids heading to school and neighbors chatting in doorways, which gives you this sense of Venice as a living city rather than just a museum.

I can see why couples rate this location so highly — there’s something genuinely romantic about wandering back through these quiet streets after dinner, especially when the day-trippers have all headed back to the mainland.   The place and the room were great. Very clean, quiet, great area. The bathroom is good. Very friendly service. Breakfast was acceptable. I left my bags after checkout and walked around light all day. Yes, there is a great pizzeria nearby! I highly recommend SuperPizza ) Vaporetto (water bus) stops are very close.
  
  What could be improved: I would like a more modern kettle. It would be nice to have the ability to make normal coffee.

  Location of this property was fantastic , within walking distance to the waterbus and local shops and restaurants. just off the main tourist routes which was great for us .The room was very big and clean with a large comfortable bed. It was equipped with everything needed for your stay with the added bonus of a fridge stocked with a selection of drinks .The rooms are cleaned on a daily basis if required. There was a selection of hot beverages which again were replenished during our stay. The staff here are amazing , they are really friendly so very helpful , which we really appreciated. The coffee at breakfast was amazing 🙂
  
  What could be improved: There wasn't much that we didn't like although it was a shame that we couldn't sit out on the beautiful balcony at breakfast , however i do appreciate that we stayed in October so this may be different during the summer months . The breakfast was ok and there was enough to set you up for the day however i felt it missed a hot option (just my personal preference )

  For us the location was perfect being so close to the vaporetto from the airport. Also quieter than closer to the piazza and train station. Good restaurants very close.

  What could be improved: Just a suggestion: the Italian breakfast (mostly sweet foods) works fine for 1-2 days, but for tourists staying longer it becomes unhealthy. We would have enjoyed an option between sweet or salty breakfast, especially given the delicious foods in Italy (cheeses, hams, olives).

  Excellent location, excellent staff. Fausto was an incredible host and answered any question. He also gave us a good tip about visiting a place which was one of the best places we've been.
  Location is very close to a vaporetto station (under 2 minutes of walking) and is located perfectly to also enjoy a walk in the city.
  Rooms were very clean.
  
  What could be improved: I wasn't a very big fan of the breakfast, I would have preffered a bit more diversity and maybe some salami and egg options. Other than that, nothing.

  Everything was perfect in my 3days stay there. Breakfast was more than enough , room was very clean and warm, the place was quite and you have easy access from and to the airport. Overall , very nice place to stay ! Hosts are amazing and very helpful !
