Honestly, the location here is pretty much perfect, and I mean that. You’re in Cannaregio, which locals will tell you is where Venice still feels like Venice — authentic campo life, neighborhood bakeries, and actual Venetians going about their daily routines. The property scored a 9.4 for location, and after spending time here, I get why. You can walk to the Rialto in about ten minutes, but you’re far enough from the madness to actually hear yourself think. Couples especially seem to love this spot (they rated it 9.3), probably because you can wander these quieter streets hand-in-hand without dodging selfie sticks every few steps.

The Rooms

The accommodations strike that sweet spot between historic charm and modern comfort. You’ll find rooms that respect the building’s Venetian heritage — think original beamed ceilings and period touches — but they’ve been thoughtfully updated with everything you actually need. The bathrooms are well-appointed without being over-the-top, and the beds are genuinely comfortable (which isn’t always a given in historic properties). What I really appreciated was how quiet everything felt; even though you’re in the heart of the city, the rooms offer a peaceful retreat after long days of exploring.

Getting Around

Here’s something that matters more than you might think — the hotel’s position makes navigating Venice so much easier. You’re close to the Fondamenta Nuove, which means quick vaporetto connections to Murano and Burano if you want to island-hop. But honestly, some of my favorite moments were just wandering the immediate neighborhood. There’s this wonderful morning routine you can develop — grab coffee at the local bar, pick up fresh bread, maybe stop by the small campo nearby where kids play football. It’s the kind of authentic Venice experience that’s getting harder to find.

  Clean, comfortable and quite place in a good location.

  The hotel was in a very quiet neighborhood. It was just 15΄ from St. Mark's Square. We stayed at S. Paolo room. There was a coffee machine in the room and a water kettle for tea. Also there is a COOP market near Apostoli Palace.

  Beautiful property with a small reception. Decent size room beautifully decorated (not overly done as some other comparable places) with a large bathroom. Sparkling clean, with lots of light thanks to two large windows. There is a fridge, a nespresso coffee machine and kettle. Toiletries and slippers are provided. We particularly appreciated being able to check in a bit earlier and the possibility of storing our bags there after checkout. We will definitely be back!

  Great cosy hotel in the lovely district of Cannaregio.
  Great location for visiting. Close to everything but not too crowded.

  The place is very well located and our room was exceptionally clean. We were allowed to check in earlier than expected which was quite nice 🙂 They were very friendly and welcoming and even gave us many tips of what to do in Venice. We recommend this place and would definitely come back!
