  The room was HUGE and exceptionally clean, the location was great, and the breakfast options were wonderful! It's a short walk (less than 10 minutes), whether dropped off by street taxi or water taxi. We reserved a water view king suite, and surprisingly, we were upgraded to a double king! It was more like a two bedroom apartment separated by a living space (fully furnished with a pull out sofa, two loveseats, and more, plus an 8-person conversation/dinner/conference table in both bedrooms. What a lovely surprise! If we ever visit Venice again, ca' bonfadini is definitely our only go- to!

  This hotel was just perfect. It is in an impressive 17th century Venetian building that has been modernised. The rooms are just incredibly well decorated. Very comfortable and spacious. The staff simply can’t do enough to help. Amazing service, great food recommendations and you feel so well looked after. It was our anniversary and they had a bottle of sparkling wine and chocolates waiting for us in the room with a lovely handwritten note. There are so many little touches like this that makes all the difference between a good stay and an amazing one. The breakfast is just the best. Quality ingredients, a range of cheese and cold meats as well as cooked options made at a very high standard. One of the best breakfast I’ve ever had in a 5 star hotel. It was just a superb hotel and one I would come back again in a heartbeat.

  Everything, most gorgeous place we have ever stayed. Room was overwhelming and huge! Water, small refrigerator, lots of closet room, huge shower, view of the canal, room service, comfortable bed, it was our 40th wedding anniversary and the brought us a fruit basket so thoughtful. I could have stayed there a month and would still be overwhelmed, all the staff was so friendly and helpful & accommodating!
