Getting Around Venice

From Ca’ Piasentin, you can walk to the Rialto Bridge in about fifteen minutes, and San Marco is maybe twenty-five minutes on foot — but honestly, half the fun is getting lost in the maze of streets along the way. The nearest vaporetto stop connects you to everywhere else you’d want to go, including Murano and Burano if you’re doing the island-hopping thing. What’s brilliant is that you can escape back to this quieter corner when the day-tripper crowds become too much. The location offers genuine convenience without feeling overdeveloped.

  I really enjoyed my stay here. I was traveling with my mom, and she was happy too! The room was very warm, cozy, and spacious. There’s a wonderful kitchen where you can cook various dishes using ingredients you can buy nearby – and everything is aesthetically pleasing.   A short walk or vaporetto ride from the bus/train station, in a more quiet area, but near enough restaurants, bars and centre. Very clean room, comfy bed, smart locks to get in. The floor may be cold in winter, best be prepared.

  What could be improved: Slightly noisy early in the morning with motor boats in the canal next door – I don’t think this is easily avoidable in Venice however.
  
  Blue light in the bathroom that couldn’t be turned off during the night leaked through the gap under the door and was annoying – had to stick a towel under the door to get to sleep.
