  The apartment is right in the centre. I was afraid of having lot of noise from the street outside, but was positively surprised. The handing over of the apartment went smoothly. Heating and everything was working fine. Paolo was helpful in finding luggage storage when we left. We had a great time.
  
  What could be improved: All was good. Venice has a special system for garbage disposal which meant that we had to take our garbage a few streets away in the morning. However this gave an opportunity to grab a nice coffee and croissant on the way back, so it was not a big issue.

  Very, very good localization. About half a minute to Piazza San Marco. Big rooms, many facilities like washing machine, fridge, TV.

  I liked everything. Ideal location, friendly host, the apartments have exactly everything you need, the rooms are very warm and clean, comfortable beds.
  
  What could be improved: Considering the difficulties with waste disposal in Venice, I would like the owners to take charge of organizing waste removal, since going early in the morning to a barge that picks it up from 6 to 9 am is not very convenient.

  Beautiful apartment. Well located. That’s why I selected it, due to our walking limitations.
  
  What could be improved: I had previously asked about an elevator and knew that there was none. I knew that there were stairs to the next floor, which we had easily handled in other apartments. But these were steep stairs with No hand rails! There were a few rings, but they were too far apart to be very useful. This was such a dangerous situation for my wife, who had a healing broken wrist and some minor stability issues, that we left the apartment after one night for a different hotel. Also, there was no hot water, although it was promised for the next day. I requested a price adjustment, but I haven’t heard anything.

  We enjoyed the extra space compared with other European hotels. After almost two weeks of travel, it was a bonus to have a clothes washer and a kitchen. We had no trouble finding the apartment. Someone was there to give us the keys and to offer useful information, including the location of a local market that was close by. The location near San Marco Plaza was perfect. The Vaporetto dock and water taxis are nearby, making access to/from the train station and airport straightforward. Note that the flat is two stories up and there is no elevator. But the person who met us was able to help us with the luggage. You will have to get the luggage downstairs on your own.
  
  What could be improved: There are no handrails on the staircase.

  What could be improved: Sofa bed was not comfortable. Having to dispose of our rubbish bags, everyday. We had to take it to a boat on the canal.

  If you want to stay directly on San Marcos square this is the place. It is spotlessly clean inside! The beds are comfy, and the air conditioning works great. It has a small kitchen, with coffee, microwave, and plenty of dishes, but only a few pots. The host even included hand wash, dish washing soap, and an iron (ironing board is under the bed). There are 2 toilets and 1 shower, all spotlessly clean. It is located on a busy shopping street, and over a restaurant (that has good food), but the area is closed up by midnight and is quiet for sleeping. The shops open around 8am. But is not too noisy. The host met us in the square and walked us to the apartment. He was very nice and told us ehere markets were, and taxis and even waited for us for later check in. {There is a fee for an after 8pm check in when in Italy) overall a wonderful experience!
  
  What could be improved: The alley where you enter the building is just off a busy shopping/eating area. Seems like people use it to relieve themselves. It did not smell when we first checked in, but on the second and 3rd day it smelled of urine. It could use a wash down each morning.you cannot smell it inside the building at all, just in the alley.
