  Anna at the rest of the breakfast staff and the entire team at the reception was just amazing !

  Beautifully designed hotel throughout with a lovely internal courtyard garden and also tables outside overlooking the lagoon which are perfect for an evening aperitif. Very good service from all of the staff including front of house; at breakfast and in the beautiful bar. Very good buffet style breakfast with a wide choice of fresh food and fab patisserie. Great location – easy walk to St Mark's but also close to vaporetto stops and close to a slightly more peaceful part of the city and the Arsenale. The hotel also has its own pier so we were able to arrive directly from the airport by water taxi. Really a first rate hotel all round.

  Great location, a bit of peace and quiet in a crazy busy place. Facilities first class, room was superb. Staff were just the right sort of attentive. Excellent bar with a decent whisky selection which was a surprise for Italy.

  The best thing about this hotel are the staff: warm, welcoming, incredibly helpful!
  
  The location is excellent. It is relatively quiet for Venice, and yet just a few minutes from St Mark's square and next to the Arsenale vaporetto stop.
  
  The bedrooms are peaceful and well thought out with everything you would expect from a luxury hotel. The beds deserve a comment – huge and extremely comfortable.

  Location and Service (warm, friendly, efficient)!
  The hotel is excellently located for discovering Venice, especially if like me, Venice is still unfamiliar and if one's preference is for a more local feel of things. The water taxi from the airport stops at Arsenal, which is the stop right in front of the hotel's main entrance. So if arriving at night, it is quite impossible to get lost, even if everything appears dark and foreboding. Its location along the water front affords some atmospheric views as well. It is an easy walk to the popular sites, and yet turn off the main thoroughfare, and one is given a glimpse of local life, away from the tourist-crowd.
