This three-star property sits right on Campo dei Gesuiti in Cannaregio, and honestly — the location alone makes it worth considering. The building has this understated elegance that doesn’t scream for attention, which I actually appreciate in a city where so many places try too hard to be grand.

You know what’s brilliant about staying in this part of Venice? You’re close enough to everything that matters, but far enough from the chaos around San Marco to actually breathe. Campo dei Gesuiti is one of those squares where locals still outnumber tourists most of the time. I mean, couples consistently rate this location 9.0 out of 10, and after spending time here, I get why. You can walk to the Rialto in about 15 minutes, but when you come back in the evening, you’ll find neighborhood bars where Venetians actually drink their spritz.

The Room Experience

The rooms here are what I’d call thoughtfully simple — no unnecessary frills, but everything you need is there and works well. Each room feels like it was designed by someone who actually travels and knows what matters: good lighting for reading, enough space to open your suitcase properly, and windows that let you hear the authentic sounds of Venice (which, let’s be honest, includes some early morning boat traffic). The beds are comfortable enough that you’ll sleep through the occasional late-night reveler wandering through the campo.

Breakfast here keeps things authentically Italian — don’t expect a massive international buffet, and that’s actually refreshing. You’ll get proper Italian coffee (finally!), fresh pastries, and the kind of simple morning spread that Venetians would recognize. It’s served in a space that feels more like someone’s elegant dining room than a hotel restaurant, which adds to the intimate atmosphere. The staff seems to remember how you like your coffee after just a day or two.

The Fondamenta Nuove waterbus stop is just a few minutes away, making day trips to Murano or Burano incredibly easy. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re living in Venice rather than just visiting it — and honestly, isn’t that what we’re all looking for?

  Super easy access from the airport—just take the Alilaguna water bus to Fondamente Nove (F.TE NOVE).
  -> Check-in & Luggage
  City tax is required upon arrival (if you book through Booking.com, you’ll find the info there).
  If you arrive before your room is ready, you can leave your suitcases, and the staff will move them to your room when it’s available (thank you!!). They will also send you info that the room is ready!
  Not staying at the hotel? You can still store your luggage here for a fee (they have a special room for it).

  Everything was clean, our suitcases were already in the room, and there was printed information left for us.

  If you want more food, you can just buy another croissant for €1 at Caffegelato or Algiubagiò for €3-5.

  The hotel actually listens to feedback—they now provide earplugs for guests.
  We didn’t need them since we were exhausted from sightseeing (honestly, the only thing we heard while falling asleep was the alarm clock next morning). (If you think you need these earplugs just do 10k more steps, your welcome)
  
  Bathroom: Nice shower with cool lights, bidet, and toiletries (2 soaps for hands, 2 for your stinky ass, and 2 shower gels).
  
  What could be improved: Mattress: The only thing we didn’t enjoy, but that’s just personal preference.

  Being on the waterfront, easy to jump on ferry from airport, great location overall, welcoming breakfast in a restaurant 30 seconds walk away.

  Great location and friendly staff. Rooms were clean and large with a nice bathroom. Breakfast at a nice cafe nearby as they were renovating their breakfast area. Great stay!

  2 floors apartment, clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff.
  
  What could be improved: Breakfast limited just hot drink, croissant and juice however Service and quality of the cafe was excellent. Wi fi did not work with password given but to be fair I have not complaint as it was late.
