Deluxe Apartments Lagoon View Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Deluxe Apartments Lagoon View on Giudecca island, you immediately know you’ve found something different. This three-star property sits right on the waterfront, and honestly, the views across the lagoon toward the main part of Venice are pretty spectacular. I mean, you’re looking directly at the Doge’s Palace and St. Mark’s Square from your window — not many places can claim that perspective. The building itself has that classic Venetian charm without being overly fancy, which actually works perfectly for the relaxed vibe of Giudecca.
The Apartment Experience
What I love about this place is that you get a proper apartment rather than just a hotel room. Each unit comes with its own kitchen, which is honestly a game-changer when you’re staying in Venice for more than a couple of days. You know how expensive eating out gets in the main tourist areas — well, here you can grab fresh ingredients from the local markets and cook with that lagoon view as your backdrop. The beds are genuinely comfortable too (and trust me, I’m picky about this), which explains why guests keep raving about getting great sleep here.
Location Magic
Here’s what most people don’t realize about Giudecca — it’s technically still Venice, but it feels like a completely different world. You’re away from the crushing crowds of San Marco, yet you can hop on the vaporetto and be at St. Mark’s Square in about 10 minutes. The couples who stay here absolutely love this setup because you get romantic lagoon walks in the evening without fighting through tourist hordes. Plus, there’s something magical about watching the sunrise over Venice from this side of the water that you just can’t get from the main island.
Practical Perks
The vaporetto stop is literally right there, which makes getting around surprisingly easy. I’ve stayed in plenty of Venice accommodations where you’re dragging luggage over multiple bridges — not an issue here. The staff knows the area inside and out, so they’ll point you toward the best local spots (there’s this fantastic restaurant just down the fondamenta that most tourists never find). You’ll also discover that Giudecca has its own rhythm — quieter mornings, peaceful evenings, and none of that overwhelming chaos you get in the main tourist zones.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets this place apart is how it lets you experience Venice like you actually live there, not just visit. You wake up to lagoon views, make coffee in your own space, and step outside to find authentic neighborhood life still happening around you. The combination of apartment-style comfort with that unbeatable location creates something pretty special — you’re in Venice but not overwhelmed by it. For the price point, especially considering you get a full apartment with those views, it’s honestly hard to beat. This is about location, comfort, and that authentic Venetian experience that’s getting harder to find.

Reviews of Deluxe Apartments Lagoon View

Beautifully furnished apartment with a great corner view. Courtyard on one side and a canal on the other. Easy access to two piers catch a waterbus and right next to the Hilton which had a rooftop bar with a 360 view. Our apartment manager was great. Had a problem with the washing machine and he sent someone to fix it right away.
What could be improved: Not too to dislike. Not too many restaurants close by. You’ll need to catch a waterbus for more options.Matthew from United States – 8 October 2024 (9/10)
I loved the view and everything about the property! The location was quiet a peaceful.
What could be improved: It was a bit far from all the places we wanted to go too.Gregory from Australia – 19 September 2024 (9/10)
The apartment was amazing. So clean and everything that you need.

The Giudecca might be the best place to stay in Venezia without having to endure the over tourism. The flat is very nice and convenient and the host is perfect.

The place was well located and fairly spotless and clean. Alvise was so helpful and attentive through messages prior to our arrival and giving directions and checking in. Totally very pleasant stay. I will go back for more in future.

Lovely location in Guidecca looking across the canal to central Venice but a little quieter and more relaxed vibe to the area.
Easy to get to Piazza San Marco and located within an easy walk of two vaporetto stations.
We stayed in apartment 45 which is very light and spacious and located on the corner of the building. There is a good elevator in the building.
Bed was comfortable and bathroom very nice, appreciated the magnifying mirror.
Nearby are plenty of waterfront cafes and restaurants and a Coop supermarket. There is an excellent fruit shop by Palanca vaporetto station.
Tip: if arriving by vaporetto with luggage go to Sacca Fisola as there is only one bridge to cross which has a ramp.
If without luggage Palanca is also easy to walk to/from.
What could be improved: Nothing really other than there is no separate dryer and the washing machine is a combo which does not dry well.
A laundry drying rack is provided.
The decor is a little dated and could do with a paint refresh but this does not affect comfort.Catherine from Ireland – 1 June 2024 (9/10)

All of it. Great apartment, great location, great views.
What could be improved: There was nothing I could say I didn't likeAnne from United Kingdom – 12 May 2024 (8/10)
The ease of the location. The view from the living room. The building was clean, quiet. Had a lift. Nice shower.
What could be improved: Just small niggles. Lack of glasses, prosecco glasses would be nice. Lack of cups/mugs. There were just 2 small tea cups (and 4espresso cups). I ended up buying some larger cups. Couldn't find a plug for the kitchen sink and no washing up bowl, so had to wash up under the running tap. The large cupboard in the bedroom was great, but just a small amount of old mismatched clothes hangers.(a large number of matching hangers is expected in a deluxe appartment). Coat hooks on the back of that door would have been handy. A shopping trolley would have been appreciated (had one in previous apartments, and it was very useful ). The Hilton was shut to visitors (booked out for private guests )during our stay,so we were unable to use the sky bar or restaurants, and we were told that the shuttle boat was for hotel guests only.
