  The hotel was located literally at the city centre! Room was clean and cozy, there is available kitchen for the guests where I can make tea. Very friendly staff.

  Easy checkin with super friendly staff. The room was very nice and cute. Bathroom clean and good. Kettle and fridge in the room. Refreshments (coffee/ biscuits) downstairs were a great touch. They offered to store our suitcases after check out (wasn’t needed for us). Great location- very close to St Marks and great food and shops around.
  
  What could be improved: A bit difficult to walk there from the train station but doable, or you could take the water bus (ferry). No lift up to room if that is a deal breaker.

  What could be improved: Thin walls, no sound proof. We woke up every morning around 5-6 when they were collecting garbages. so noisy!

  The staff were so welcoming and kind. We heard a few weird sounds and called reception and the owner came to sit with us for a bit to make sure everything was okay! We loved getting to watch gondolas go by all day from our window
  
  What could be improved: That the reception is about 30m down the street at another hotel. It wasn’t an issue and we didn’t mind this, but we just personally prefer having reception close by in case

  I loved the location. The hotel is very nice and the staff at reception were very helpful.
  
  What could be improved: Unfortunately it is company policy (apparently)to start cleaning the rooms around 8:30am and the staff have no consideration for people still sleeping when check out is at 11am. They were very noisy to say the least. I advise ear plugs if you require a lay in..
