La Veneziana Boutique Rooms 2 Overview
First Impressions
Walking through the narrow streets of Castello to find La Veneziana Boutique Rooms 2, you’ll pass locals hanging laundry from ancient windows and the occasional tourist who’s clearly lost their way. The entrance is understated — honestly, I almost walked past it the first time — but that’s part of the charm. This three-star boutique property sits right in the thick of authentic Venice, where you’re more likely to hear Italian conversations than camera clicks. The moment you step inside, there’s this immediate sense that you’ve found something genuinely local rather than another tourist trap.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s what I love about the Castello district — it feels like the Venice that Venetians actually live in. You’re tucked away on Rugagiuffa, which sounds romantic but is really just a typical Venetian alley that somehow manages to be both maze-like and perfectly walkable. The location score of 9.7 makes complete sense when you realize you can wander to St. Mark’s Square in about ten minutes, but you’re far enough away that you won’t be fighting crowds every time you leave your room. Couples especially seem to get this (they rate it 9.8), probably because there’s something inherently romantic about discovering hidden wine bars and family-run restaurants that most visitors never find.
The Rooms
The rooms at La Veneziana Boutique Rooms 2 strike that sweet spot between Venetian character and modern comfort. You know how some historic properties make you feel like you’re sleeping in a museum? This isn’t that. The spaces feel thoughtfully designed — not huge, because honestly, this is Venice and space is precious — but cleverly laid out with enough personality to remind you where you are. The windows open onto either the street or small courtyards, and there’s something deeply satisfying about the morning ritual of throwing open those shutters and hearing the city wake up below.
Getting Around
Being in the real heart of Venice means you’re actually well-positioned for everything, though “getting around” here is really just walking since that’s how Venice works. The vaporetto stops are close enough when you need them (especially useful for airport transfers or trips to the outer islands), but honestly, most of what you’ll want to see is within walking distance. I mean, you can reach the Rialto Bridge, the Doge’s Palace, and countless churches and squares without ever needing public transport. The neighborhood has that perfect balance where you feel like a temporary local rather than a tourist passing through.
Why Guests Love It
That 9.5 rating tells the real story here — guests consistently love how this place delivers an authentic Venice experience without sacrificing comfort. It’s the kind of spot where you’ll chat with the staff about which bacaro serves the best cicchetti, then spend your evening hopping between tiny bars that don’t appear in guidebooks. You’re staying somewhere that feels genuinely Venetian, in a neighborhood where real people live and work, but you’re never more than a pleasant stroll from the major sights. For travelers who want to experience Venice beyond the postcard version, La Veneziana Boutique Rooms 2 hits exactly the right note.
Best hotels in Venice blend frescoed salons, marble hammams, and rooftop altanas for prosecco sunsets.

The warm, exceptionally friendly staff made the stay so completely satisfying. From help with directions, train and Vaporetto planning ,
to the welcoming champagne and morning treats, each of the staff went above and beyond to care for us. The location was 6 to 10 minutes from anywhere you would like to go. We wouldn't ever stay anywhere else if we return to Venice.
