One thing that surprised me was how easy it is to navigate from here to pretty much anywhere you’d want to go in Venice. The vaporetto stops are close by, but honestly, I found myself walking most places because the routes through Santa Croce are actually quite straightforward (well, as straightforward as anything gets in Venice). You’re positioned perfectly for exploring both the quieter residential areas and the main tourist circuits. I mean, you can grab morning coffee with locals at a neighborhood bar, then be at the Doge’s Palace within twenty minutes if that’s your thing.

  L’emplacement et le calme.
  
  What could be improved: Le réfrigérateur hors d’usage, la climatisation vieillissante , le manque de vaisselle ( pas de bol pour le petit déjeuner), pas de torchons.

  Location to the main station and Grand Canal was excellent. Plenty of room for two. Decor was good. The security was very good, It had decent sized towels. The bed was comfortable. The shower was small but good
  
  What could be improved: Room had only a cursory clean. There was a slight sewerage smell throughout. Only one cup. No kettle to boil water, only a saucepan, which when we boiled the water, had a residue in it and the water tasted horrible. We ate out, which defeated the purpose of getting a villa. The wi-fi was intermittent at best.

  Residenza B is a clean, safe and spacious ground floor apartment in the heart of Venice. The location is excellent, about a 10 minute walk from Rialto Bridge in one direction and the Train station in the other, it is a great base to explore Venice from and would recommend to anyone.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing to dislike about the apartment itself. Sometimes there was a small smell in the mornings, but you're in Venice, I think that's to be expected and would be the same wherever you stayed!!

  The location was perfect. Not far from the bustling area of the city. The host answered our questions relatively fast. Overall, the apartment was clean.
  
  What could be improved: I wish there were more garbage cans inside the apartment. It would've made the whole sorting process faster and easier. Also, a little guide would be helpful. Since the apartment is on the ground floor, it was humid. A washed T-shirt dried for 2 full days.

  Close proximity to water taxis and the cleanliness and space of the property. The beds were very comfortable as well.
