Hotel Description
Nestled in the heart of Venice’s historic center, the charming three-star Rialto House offers travelers an authentic Venetian experience in one of the city’s most sought-after locations. Situated at San Polo 958 in the vibrant San Polo district, this well-appointed hotel boasts a commendable 7.7 rating from satisfied guests who appreciate its perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and genuine Italian hospitality. The hotel’s prime address places it mere steps away from the iconic Rialto Bridge, one of Venice’s most celebrated landmarks spanning the magnificent Grand Canal. This strategic location provides guests with unparalleled access to the pulsating heart of Venetian culture and commerce that has thrived in this area for centuries.
From the moment you arrive at Rialto House, you’ll find yourself immersed in the enchanting atmosphere that makes Venice such a beloved destination worldwide. The San Polo district, Venice’s smallest yet one of its most characterful neighborhoods, surrounds the hotel with its maze of narrow alleyways, historic squares, and authentic local eateries. The world-famous Rialto Market, where locals have sourced fresh seafood, fruits, and vegetables since 1097, is within comfortable walking distance, allowing guests to experience the vibrant daily rituals of Venetian life. The hotel’s solid 7.7 rating reflects its consistent ability to deliver a comfortable stay while serving as an excellent base for exploration. Guests particularly appreciate the accessibility to major attractions – St. Mark’s Square and its breathtaking basilica are just a short vaporetto ride or a picturesque walk away, while the Gallerie dell’Accademia and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection can be easily reached for art enthusiasts.
Rialto House embodies the distinctive charm that makes Venetian accommodations so special, offering a more intimate and personalized experience than larger chain hotels. The three-star rating ensures guests receive essential comforts and reliable service while maintaining the authentic character that travelers seeking the true essence of Venice desire. The hotel serves as not merely a place to rest but as an integral part of your Venetian adventure, where you can return after a day of exploration to reflect on the city’s timeless beauty. From your doorstep, the full spectacle of Venice unfolds – gondolas gliding along the Grand Canal, the architectural splendor of centuries-old palazzos, and the unique aquatic rhythm of a city built on water. For those looking to experience Venice beyond the tourist highlights, the hotel’s location in San Polo provides easy access to genuine neighborhood restaurants, artisan workshops, and quiet campos where locals gather. Whether you’re visiting for the world-famous Carnival celebrations, the Biennale art exhibition, or simply to soak in the incomparable atmosphere of La Serenissima, Rialto House offers a well-rated, centrally located haven from which to experience the timeless magic of Venice.

lovely apartment in a very convenient centre, near the Rialto bridge and 10 min from St Mark's square. Everything was as in the photo. Easy to find the apartment by geolocation, we were met by a very friendly owner, he showed us everything and gave recommendations. The price-quality ratio is excellent. Everything was clean, tidy, everything worked, there was hot water, a kettle, a stove, a fridge. Everything you need for your stay: hairdryer, towels, clean bedding. Highly recommended

It was a great size apartment, comfortable, clean, great location, a/c worked well, mini kitchen. The host provided great instructions and directions on how to get there and access the apartment.
Would stay again.Ahmed – 28 July 2023 (4/10)
What could be improved: Host was not responding timely.

Location. Walkable distance to Rialto bridge and ferry station and restaurants.
What could be improved: Beds are very uncomfortable. Noise from outside. Small shower area. No lift. Just one electrical stove. You can hardly call it a kitchen. Since we were out for the whole time, I didn't mind that. Stairs are steep and narrow. Building is very old which is understandable. Price could have been cheaper.Fekete from United Kingdom – 25 August 2023 (1/10)
nothing
What could be improved: Finding the apartment was a bit difficult because the internet is not perfect in Venice so I asked for help from the owner who was rude and condescending and called himself a "businessman". This is true because to him profit came first and the guests last. Just when I thought it could not get any worse, fate said "Hold my beer" and I opened the building door. A massive black mold was in the corner, and the smell was terrible. My niece has asthma and we got scared that she was going to have an asthma attack. The railing was missing from the wall, and even though we were told that the apartment was on the first floor, it was on the second floor. Going into the apartment we got a free time travelling experience to the early 90s. Many of the tiles on the floor were broken and there was no warm water when we arrived. The beds were uncomfortable. The AC works fine but it's very noisy. I do not wish this apartment for my worst enemy.Mauro from Italy – 25 October 2022 (3/10)
Position in Venice
What could be improved: Not clean, poor apartment facilities, little info to get in, old mattresses, full of mosquitoes.Ran from France – 1 September 2022 (3/10)
1. The appartment has an excellent place, very close to "ponte di Rialto"
2. Good wifi connection
What could be improved: 1. Shower broken
2. Noise neighbour
3. Fridge stinks
4. Provide dishes, but no dishes clean product
5. No clean service included, but don't provide sweeps to us to clean ourselfGiorgia from Italy – 31 March 2025 (8/10)
Posizione ottima, pulito e ordinato.
Sofía from Spain – 26 January 2025 (9/10)
La ubicación 10/10, al lado del rialto y del centro. La habitación súper bien, calentita y muy cómoda
What could be improved: Por la noche había poca iluminación para llegar, pero te apañas fácilMaite from Spain – 12 July 2023 (8/10)
What could be improved: Eché de menos una cafetera.
Fogones muy viejos y con enchufe.
