  This apartment is in an amazing location so close to St Mark’s Square but in a quiet alley street.

  Lovely apartment. The host was very kind and met us to hand over the keys and give us a run through of the property. It was just one street back from the square, so close to everything. The area felt safe and we weren't concerned about walking around at night. No view, other than a small courtyard below and a building opposite the bedroom windows.
  
  What could be improved: Make sure you bring your own shampoo as there was only body wash. The green shutters don't fully cover the windows (no curtains), so light came in at night, bring eye masks if this is a concern. You will also need to keep the shutters closed when you are getting dressed.
