  This Hotel was the Perfect location for watching the Regatta. One of a few remaining Grand Hotels with Old World elegance, beauty, and gracious civility. We were trated very graciously by all the staff.

  The staff at the Gritti Palace are incredible, accomodating, friendly, polite, they remember you from last time, not like you are just a number & believe me in Venice that is not a common thing!
  
  What could be improved: The vegetarian club sandwich fell a little short of my last one, but given this time we stayed it was the beginning of Carnivale when Venice is drowning with tourists its a little to be expected.

  The Gritti Palace is one of the ultimate luxury stays. It's location in a restored 15th century palazzo on the Grand Canal really is unparalleled. The rooms are gorgeously styled, like the rest of the hotel, comfortable and pure luxury. Service throughout the stay, from check-in to check-out was exceptional. Concierge was an excellent help in organising various experiences for us. We also made sure to take part in the Culinary School hosted at the hotel with one of head chefs – a brilliant experience in itself. The bar is beautiful and has a range of excellent and creative cocktails – my favourite is the Wild Fennel Martini! The restaurant was stunning at dinner and at breakfast. Fabulous all round, zero regrets.
