The Rialto Bridge is maybe a 10-minute walk, and you can reach the train station easily when it’s time to leave — something that’s actually pretty important when you’re hauling luggage through Venice’s maze of bridges and steps. What I really appreciated was being close enough to everything but still in a residential area where you’ll see locals going about their daily routines.

The Apartment Space

The apartment itself is designed for three guests, and the layout works well for that number — I mean, you’re not going to have tons of space (this is Venice, after all), but everything you need is there. The decor has a sort of understated Venetian style without being too theme-park about it, if you know what I mean. There’s a small kitchen area that’s actually functional, which is great if you want to grab some fresh ingredients from the local markets and avoid restaurant prices for every meal. The windows let in good natural light, and you get glimpses of typical Venetian architecture from the rooms.

Practical Considerations

One thing that surprised me was how well-equipped the apartment is for the price point. You’ve got reliable Wi-Fi, which isn’t always a given in older Venetian buildings, and the heating works properly — something you’ll definitely appreciate if you’re visiting during the cooler months. The building doesn’t have an elevator, but that’s pretty standard for this type of accommodation in Venice. Just pack light or be prepared for some stairs. The check-in process was straightforward, and the local contact was responsive when I had questions about the area.

  Gute Lage (in der Nähe befindet sich eine Vaporettostation), super saubere Wohnung.
  
  What could be improved: Die Schlüsselübergabe hat überhaupt nicht funktioniert, obwohl man sich im Vorfeld 3 Tage lang Nachrichten hin und her geschrieben hatte mit jeglicher Information! Uns wurde ständig eine neue Ansprechperson genannt, am Ende hatte sich keiner in der Verantwortung gesehen uns zu begrüßen. Durch ein Telefonat und das Weiterleiten an eine andere Person, kam schlussendlich eine Schlüsselübergabe zustande. Schade, dass dies so abgelaufen ist… wir haben dadurch viel Zeit verloren, eine Schlüsselbox wäre eine viel bessere Option. Trotzdem war die Begrüßung am Ende sehr nett. Zudem hatten wir ein riesen Problem mit Mücken – das hatte uns schlaflose Nächte bereitet. Darüber hinaus hatte das WLAN nicht funktioniert, dies wurde am folgenden Tag "repariert".

  Bien amueblado, calidad, tenía de todo para comenzar estancia, cocina completa , baño, Wi-Fi, sàbanas faltaban para el sofá cama pero lo solucionaron enseguida. Buena situación
  
  What could be improved: Es difícil encontrar la ubicación, aconseja quedar en e una parada vaporetto,, nos perdimos y llegamos tarde al Check-in tuvimos que abonar 50€

  It's a perfect location, not too far away from the interesting parts of Venice. All is there, clean, working, new, complete. It's run by a company, not by a private host, and they're quite professional. Also very good of them to provide a book with info and tips about Venice (200+ pages).
  
  What could be improved: Bathroom was clean and new, but a bit cramped. Being an old house, there's not much to be done about this.

  Very cosy and spacious apartment. Located close to the Grand Canal and plenty of shops, restaurants, touristic sites. But not too close, so very calm and relaxing.

  Host met us earlier than Check-in time so we could drop off our luggage . Directly across from the Natural history museum which was beautiful and fascinating. Also close to shops, cafes and supermarket

  it’s a very nice beautiful property with loaded of all the facilities needed

  kitchen has every things which we need and the crockery to utensils are very good quality plus room and toilet also neat and clean with everything organized and extra towels and bed sheets were there and the guy Matteo was very kind he guided us and provide with extra sheets and towel
