The air conditioning worked perfectly (crucial during summer months), and the bathroom was recently renovated with modern fixtures that somehow still felt in keeping with the building’s character. The windows opened onto a quiet courtyard, which meant actual sleep despite being in the heart of everything.

Breakfast happens in a cozy ground-floor space that doubles as a common area throughout the day. It’s not elaborate — think fresh pastries, good coffee, and local touches like proper Italian yogurt — but it sets you up well for exploring. The staff here actually knows Venice, not just the hotel, so they’ll steer you toward the morning markets or suggest which vaporetto routes make sense for your plans. There’s no restaurant on-site, but honestly, with Venice’s incredible dining scene literally outside your door, you don’t need one.

  Location is perfect, close to everything and yet quite at night
  
  What could be improved: A quite steep Stair before reaching the elevator. Door key too difficult to open. Can’t leave trash in the apartment, need to find garbage area outside the building to dispose trash, too inconvenient.

  Venice is an interesting city to get around in. This apartment is in the best location to all the places you want to visit – St Mark's Piazza, Dogge's Palace, Rialto Bridge, and of course the original Harry's Bar home of Hemingway to royalty. Full kitchen with washing machine. Highly recommended.

  Located in a very heart of the central area, you can reach everything very comfortably.
  The host was very welcoming, recommended some nice spots and things to do, regarding there was some city celebration taking place in the town.
  Apartament was very clean and cozy, comfortable for four people, white separate rooms and two bathrooms.

  Easy to arrive by vaporetto (Alilaguna Blue line 1h20min from the airport). Directly to San Marco. 3-4 min straight easy walking. A person was at the street waiting with the keys. An apartment with 2 bedrooms and a living room and a small kitchen and two wc/showers. The only problem was with the luggage when checking out by 11 am. Could have been taken to a private place for some hours but too much walking to there. Luckily there is a Hotel Casanova right opposite to the apartment and one can leave the luggage there by reserving online (usebounce.com). Their (Bounce) net pages tell the address only after booking — but it is Hotel Casanova.
