Ca Miracoli Overview
First Impressions
Walking down Calle della Testa to find Ca Miracoli, you’ll pass typical Venetian storefronts and residential doorways before spotting this three-star gem tucked into the Cannaregio district. The entrance is understated in that perfectly Venetian way — no flashy signage, just the kind of authentic charm that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something locals might actually know about. I mean, this isn’t one of those tourist traps near San Marco where you’re paying for the postcard view and little else.
Location & Getting Around
Here’s what I love about staying in Cannaregio — you’re actually in Venice, not just visiting it. Ca Miracoli sits in what’s genuinely considered the top-rated area of the city, and honestly, that 9.5 location score makes complete sense once you start exploring. You can walk to the Rialto Bridge in about ten minutes, but you’re far enough from the main tourist crush that you’ll hear actual Venetian conversations in the morning instead of just camera clicks. The nearest vaporetto stop is Ca’ d’Oro, which connects you to everywhere you need to go, and there’s something satisfying about knowing the water bus routes like a semi-local.
The Rooms
The accommodations at Ca Miracoli strike that sweet spot between authentic Venetian character and modern comfort that’s honestly pretty hard to find at this price point. You’ll get those classic touches — think exposed beams and traditional Venetian flooring — without feeling like you’re sleeping in a museum. The rooms aren’t huge (this is Venice, after all), but they’re thoughtfully designed so you don’t feel cramped. What really impressed me was how quiet everything stays despite being in a residential neighborhood where people actually live and work.
The Neighborhood Experience
Cannaregio has this wonderful mix of everyday Venetian life and enough restaurants and bars to keep you entertained without feeling touristy. You know what’s great? You can grab morning coffee at a local bar where the barista might actually remember your order by day three, then wander over to see some incredible art at Ca’ Rezzonico or just get pleasantly lost in the maze of smaller canals. The area comes alive in the evenings when locals head out for aperitivo, and there’s something magical about joining that rhythm instead of just observing it from the outside.
Why Guests Love It
That 8.2 rating really reflects what this place does well — it delivers an authentic Venice experience without the premium prices of the more famous districts. Couples especially seem to connect with Ca Miracoli, probably because there’s something inherently romantic about staying somewhere that feels like a local secret. You’re not paying for marble lobbies or concierge services, but you are getting that rare thing in Venice: genuine value in a location that lets you experience the city like someone who actually belongs there, even if it’s just for a few days.
Venice’s hotels pair butlered gondolas, Murano chandeliers, and concierge-led lagoon hops.

Reviews of Ca Miracoli
Karmen from Estonia – 21 July 2024 (6/10)
* Great location
* Nice communication with the owner of the property via WhatsApp
* Good room layout in the apartment – I liked that it was spacious and had 2 washrooms
* Wifi worked as expected
What could be improved: * Air conditioner – it was not in every room, and in one bedroom the quiet mode was still quite loud
* The toilets didn't always work properly
* One shower head was broken – it was usable, but the water sprayed in different directions and with low pressureRichard from New Zealand – 28 May 2024 (3/10)
What could be improved: There was no mention for older travelers there were more than 50 stairs to climb at the apartment, a minimum of 3 times a day thats over 300. From the ferry, it is over 140 steps all up.
Not suitable for older tourists
For younger tourists its a quality residence for a traveler.
Due to the situation, we were required to book water taxis and they are not cheap.Kenneth from United States – 25 May 2024 (9/10)
The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The apartment had a great view and plenty of room for our group of 7. The bathrooms were nice and the entire place was very clean. There are things you can't control like steep, narrow stairs, uneven floors and creaky doors. But, that is also part of the charm of Venice and these beautiful historic buildings. We thoroughly enjoyed where we were and would stay here again. 987-8631

Muy buena calefacción, la ubicación
Puedes llegar caminando a cualquier lugar .
What could be improved: No tiene ascensor y está en un tercer piso, lo que incomoda a personas con limitaciones , la dirección con Google maps no es exacta.Hock from Germany – 11 November 2023 (9/10)
location is great
Yer from United States – 12 October 2023 (7/10)
The location was perfect! It's within walking distance to many places.
What could be improved: One Bathroom’s seat toilet was broken and the one shower didn't have a glass cover. You can't use it.Silvia from Slovakia – 20 August 2023 (7/10)
It was clean apartment in the nice historical center
What could be improved: The furniture was a bit old and unorganized.Ryan – 23 June 2023 (9/10)
Plenty of space and amenities! Easy access to coffee shops, restaurants, transport, and attractions.
What could be improved: 3 story marble step walk up, and there are multiple owner-occupied units in the same building, so access and conversation is not very smooth. These are both things that cannot be changed, but an awareness should be provided to all.Piotr from Croatia – 28 April 2023 (9/10)
First and foremost – communication with owners/property manager is very smooth. They are available every time you have any questions and they are super flexible in terms of check-in and check-out. You can also expect a myriad of recommendations and tips. The apartment as such is located in close vicinity of all major attractions ins Venice and the boat station to the airport. The apartment is equipped with all the necessary facilities. The view from the living room is stunning and the location is rather quiet.
What could be improved: Nothing
