Palazzina San Polo 2151 Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Palazzina San Polo 2151 feels like discovering a well-kept secret in one of Venice’s most authentic neighborhoods. This three-star boutique hotel occupies a beautifully restored Venetian palace right on Campo San Polo — and I mean right on it, with front-row seats to one of the city’s largest and liveliest squares. The entrance is understated in that distinctly Venetian way, but once you step inside, you’re immediately struck by how they’ve managed to preserve the historic character while creating something genuinely comfortable for modern travelers.
Location & Neighborhood
Honestly, the location here is pretty much perfect if you want to experience Venice like a local. Campo San Polo is this wonderful square where actual Venetians still gather — kids play football in the evenings, neighbors chat on benches, and there’s always something happening during festival season. You’re in the San Polo district, which means you can walk to the Rialto Bridge in about five minutes, but you’re also tucked away from the worst of the tourist crowds that swarm around San Marco. The narrow streets around here are filled with authentic bacari (those little wine bars Venice does so well) and family-run shops that have been here for generations.
The Rooms
The rooms at Palazzina San Polo 2151 strike that tricky balance between historic charm and actual comfort — something a lot of Venice hotels struggle with, to be honest. Each room feels different because, well, you’re in a centuries-old building where no two spaces are quite the same. The furnishings lean toward refined contemporary style rather than trying too hard to be period pieces, which I actually appreciate. Some rooms overlook the campo itself (worth requesting if you don’t mind a bit of evening chatter), while others face the quieter side streets. The bathrooms are compact but well-designed — they’ve clearly thought about how to make the most of the space without sacrificing functionality.
Daily Life at the Hotel
What I really like about staying here is how it fits into the rhythm of Venetian life. You can grab your morning coffee at the little bar downstairs, then step right out onto the campo to watch the city wake up. The staff genuinely knows the neighborhood — they’ll point you toward the best cicchetti spots or tell you which water bus routes to avoid during rush hour. There’s something refreshing about a hotel that doesn’t try to be everything to everyone but instead focuses on being a comfortable base for exploring. The common areas invite you to linger a bit, maybe plan your day or just people-watch through the windows.
Why Guests Love It
This place works because it gives you an authentic Venice experience without making you sacrifice comfort for character. Couples especially seem to love it here — there’s something romantic about having your own little corner of a real Venetian square, away from the cruise ship crowds but still close enough to everything that matters. You’re not just staying in Venice; you’re actually living in it for a few days. And honestly, in a city where location can make or break your entire trip, being right on Campo San Polo with that excellent location score feels like winning the lottery.
Apartments in Venice suit art students with beam-lined lofts, courtyard wells, and quiet campi.

I had a wonderful stay at Nomada Villas. The spacious room was comfortable, and the location offered easy access to the main street and a nearby gym. What made my experience exceptional was the amazing staff, especially Elda, Putri, Nah Di, and Ahlus, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. Highly recommend for a comfortable and convenient stay!

Spacious, Nice and clean.
What could be improved: The AC needs to be cleaned as one room smelled really bad when we turned AC on. Need to put in more toilet paper for 2+nights.Andrew from New Zealand – 9 November 2024 (9/10)
The PlayStation was great, there was a good selection of games. There are also board games too.
The location is perfect because it is approximately 10-15 minutes from the train station in one direction, and all the main attractions in the other direction. It was a good half way point.
The bag storage is the best thing about the apartment. The host will offer you to drop your bags inside the apartment while it is being cleaned. This was very convenient and allowed us an extra day in Venice.
There are 2 bedrooms with double bed, so the apartment was very big and spacious.
The washing machine and dryer is very new and convenient.
The kitchen is well equipped.
What could be improved: Getting inside the apartment could be improved. For example there needs to be a sign on the door to indicate you are at the correct property. We initially had some difficulty finding the right door, and we also had some neighbours try to unlock our door too. They mistake our our apartment for their apartment.Joanna from Poland – 15 September 2024 (9/10)
Property is located on quiet, small road. Apartment was clean and nicely prepared for us.

Communication was great (via booking.com system), keys kept in a lock box so no worries about collecting them, everything was clean, there were plates, glasses, cutlery, iron and ironing board, quiet place, great location, everything as in photos, happy with everything

Beautiful apartment with everything we needed. A lovely narrow street that was away from the crowds and quiet at night but literally a 5/10 minute walk to the busier streets. Lovely restaurants in the square, shops really close by. Perfect.
