  Location was fantastic. It was a not in the busiest part of Venice, which I appreciated, but still very close to everything and had a beautiful canal in front of it.
  
  What could be improved: It was insanely expensive for what it was. It was a very basic apartment with no decorations or rugs (this could be fine, but for this price, I expected more comfort and amenities). The main bedroom was nice, but the bed in the second bedroom was not particularly comfortable. The floor was at an angle so the head of the bed was below the foot of the bed, there was no mattress pad, and the blankets were itchy.

  Great location. Layout of the apartment met our needs. Large bathroom. Quiet except for the early morning church bells and the late night street noise.
  Near a good grocery store and wine store, a local campo and local produce market.
  
  What could be improved: The beds were both double twin mattresses which regularly split while sleeping in them; you had to pick a side. Two people in the same bed were inevitably separated.
  The glassware and flatware were not all clean. Other equipment in the kitchen was also not clean.
  There wasn't a chef's knife in the kitchen, only a bread knife which made preparing meals a challenge.

  The apartment was spacious enough with cooking facilities and washing machine, reasonably located, a good 10-15 minute walk from San Marco square. Plenty of restaurants and shops closeby
  
  What could be improved: No hot water the first night so had to forfeit shower, problem rectified following day. Beds and pillows uncomfortable and towel racks were falling apart. These details are not that costly to improve on so perhaps take note.

  the location was perfect. hidden away from the mega busy areas but still only a 10 minute walk to the main attractions. the space exceeded expectations, i was expecting a dingy flat but it was huge with loads of space. bedrooms didnt back on to eachother which was a bonus.
  theres a beautiful cat that lives next door. there is a pigeon that lives in the bathroom, i think it is nesting ??? i tried to feed / water it which it was less than appreciative of and didnt seem like the most friendly pigeon i've met.
  
  What could be improved: getting the keys was a faff. initially there was a video sent with instructions and then the keys were left with a restaurant near by, when we went to collect the keys the restaurant knew nothing about it and it took a while to get through to someone who knew how to get the keys or where they were.
  there was only 3 toilet rolls for 4 of us for 4 nights which i thought was a bit stingy. we had to go out and buy some more.

  The apartment was clean and spacious, with a new kitchen and modern bathroom and new cupboards in the bedrooms
  It had good facilities including a washing machine
  It is in a good location and you can access the water bus to travel around the island and to other islands
  
  What could be improved: More accurate information from the host is needed
  The website advertises you will be met on arrival. There is actually a key box but the keys and lock were new and not easy to open, and there was no clear location or number to identify which flat it is once inside the main door.
  We had to follow up the contact to get the information to get in, it was not timely and then again for contact to come to let us in and wait as we could not get in. He was helpful once he came but if we had been met the issues would have been avoided.
  Also clear directions to walk from getting off the airport water bus is needed, as google maps does not work well in the Venice streets and walkways and the water bus has several access points. This would be simple to provide, as with luggage and not knowing the area it takes 10-15 minutes walk whereas it could be 5-10 with clear directions.

  We loved the location, away from the main areas and quiet at night, but close enough to walk to everything. 20 minute walk from the train station and 5-10 min walk to main attractions. Loved the view of one of the canals and the gondolas going by all day. Close to lots of great restaraunts. Very spacious would be great for families.
  
  What could be improved: Some delay with check in because I didn't have whats app and minimal service. Which were my issues and they worked hard to get in touch and check me in. Make sure you have whats app or maybe send the info the night before.

  Friendly host, keys delivered as scheduled. Apartment big with two rooms, kitchen fully equipped, big bathroom and very clean. Supermarket and restaurant nearby. View to the canal from room. Apartment located in a calm area and no noise at all from outside. Train station at 20 min walking distance (or take the waterbus line 5.2 and get off at Fondamente Nove and 3 min walking to the apartment) and St Marks Square at 10 min walking. Great location!
