You’re genuinely close to everything that matters: the Rialto Market is a pleasant walk away, and getting to San Marco takes maybe 15 minutes on foot through some of the city’s most photogenic backstreets. The area has this perfect balance where you can grab morning coffee at a local bar (not the touristy kind) but still reach major attractions without breaking a sweat. This neighborhood truly captures the essence of authentic Venice.

The Space

What strikes you immediately is how thoughtfully designed everything feels. The owners clearly understand that in Venice, space is precious, so every square meter has been maximized without feeling cramped. The interiors blend traditional Venetian elements with modern comfort — think exposed beams and contemporary furnishings that actually work together.   Our stay was absolutely wonderful! 😊 Elisa was an incredibly kind and thoughtful host. Before our arrival, she sent us very detailed check-in instructions, including photos, which made everything super easy. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a lovely welcome gift – wine and sweets – which made us feel right at home.
  
  The apartment was very well-equipped with coffee, tea, and all the essentials, and it was spotlessly clean. But what truly impressed us the most was Elisa’s kindness and willingness to help. After we left, she reached out to let us know she had found a watch we had forgotten. Not only did she send it to our home address, but she also covered the shipping costs and refused to accept any reimbursement.
  
  This level of hospitality is truly rare, and we are so grateful for her kindness. We highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back! 💙

  All was so great from the begining till the end..Elisa the owner is such a great and wonderfull lady,very helpfull with all her guests needs and questions,always available to answer and help or just take care they feel like home in her appartament..thank you again for all Elisa,was such a pleasure to be your guests and meet you..
  The appartament has a very good location,a few minutes from vaporeto station San Marcuola casino line 2 and 1..very usefull to go wherever you want..minutes away by foot till Rialto or Ferovia..very peacefull during nite for a good sleep..
  Inside you find all you need in the kitchen and bathroom like home to make your sejour very nice..there was nothing we needed and not find it in the appartament..also note 10 cleaning which is a very important thing for all tourists for sure..the decor is very elegant..we loved it…
  Also we had a welcome surprize in the kitchen,very apreciated and well recieved☺️
  We gladly recommend Casa Mariamaddalena for an wonderfull sejour in Venice,you will love it and we will come back for sure if it will be available next time when we will have the chance to visit Venice

  The apartment was very quiet and peaceful but also just around the corner from a brilliant bar and coffee shop. The neighbourhood was friendly and perfect for getting a flavour of Venice beyond the touristy areas. The little kitchen gave flexibility in terms of food prep. Elisa the host was kind and helpful in communication throughout. The apartment was exactly what we needed and we had a lovely time.
