  We liked the location. The unit was quiet. We liked using the cooking facilities and the washing machine. We liked the shower and bidet in the bathroom. Liked the outdoor deck – it felt very private – a nice space to sip a glass of wine!
  
  What could be improved: Though there was a washing machine and ironing board, there was no iron – we understand that will be coming. While an iron can, of course, make clothes neater, we could have used it to finish drying the clothes. Venice is humid and clothes line drying took a very long time.
  A few extras in the kitchen would be helpful: silicone scraper, silicone egg spatula, silicone cooking spoon and slotted spoon, balsamic vinegar, sugar for coffee. (We bought salt, pepper, white wine vinegar and a cork screw to leave behind.)
  After the rains, the mosquitos were voracious! Screens on the windows would be great, to allow ventilation without allowing mozzies inside.
  Though we appreciated getting the windows and toilet seat fixed, waiting for the repairmen to complete the job robbed us of about 2 hours of our day.
