  The apartment is very large and spacious, clean and has a phenomenal view from the bedroom. Our host was also exceptional. She greeted us upon arrival and was very informative and friendly. She let us know about a grocery store literally down the street and it was so convenient to have fresh fruit and snacks for the remainder of our trip. We made the horrific mistake of leaving both sets of keys inside the apartment on a Saturday night right before a storm. We contacted our host and she made the hour-long trek to let us back into the apartment and totally saved us. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood away from the crowds but still close to plenty of restaurants and walking distance to the train station. We will definitely stay here again next time we’re in Venice.

  The apartment is big enough for two people. The window that opens on the canal and the bridge is lovely. The bathroom and the kitchen are big enough. Lots of shops, restaurants and cafes all around. Very close to Piazzale Roma, so quite easy.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment is on the ground floor and the street can be noisy especially on Friday and Saturday nights.
  Some things in the apartment have to be repaired (the washing machine, a door…).
  It could /should be cleaner.

  The house was is located right in front of a canal which is lovely. The place is a busy road. Always having boats playing music passing by the canal.
  
  What could be improved: The house door open directly on the main street and canal. Its always chaotic. Whole night was very chaotic.
  The sofa bed is really bad for people to sleep, let alone 2 grown adults. It was very uncomfortable.
  The oils and other spices kept in the house for usage expired in 2019.. Beware not to use them. The host should really throw them out.
