From the hotel’s doorstep, guests can easily stroll to the magnificent St. Mark’s Square (Piazza San Marco), the breathtaking St. Mark’s Basilica, and the historic Doge’s Palace. The proximity to the Biennale venues, as hinted in the hotel’s name, makes La Corte Incantata particularly appealing to those visiting Venice during the famous international art and architecture exhibitions. The hotel’s address at Corte Pietro da Liesina places guests in a neighborhood rich with history, local eateries, and artisan shops, allowing for immersive exploration of Venice’s living cultural heritage.
What truly sets La Corte Incantata apart, as evidenced by its outstanding rating, is the harmonious blend of location, service, and atmosphere. The hotel serves as more than just accommodation; it offers an authentic portal into Venetian life. The Castello district provides a perfect balance—connected enough to be convenient, yet removed enough from the main tourist thoroughfares to maintain its distinctive character and tranquility. Whether watching gondolas glide along nearby canals, sampling cicchetti (Venetian tapas) at local bacari (wine bars), or simply wandering the neighborhood’s medieval streets and quiet campos (squares), guests at La Corte Incantata experience Venice as locals do. The hotel’s three-star classification belies the exceptional experience it delivers, with previous guests consistently praising its value, cleanliness, and the genuine warmth of its hospitality. The location is amazing, variety of bars, restaurants, supermarket is very close, however the apartment itself is on the quiet street, so there is no loud noises at night
The host was very helpful and attentive and really "went an extra mile" to make the stay pleasant and comfortable.
Apartment has everything needed, the public transportantion stop just 2 min walk.
Would always love to come back again!Mikus from Latvia – 15 October 2024 (9/10)
We travel to Venice often and this was definitely the best guest house we've stayed in – great location, well equipped kitchen, small patio with a table for nice breakfasts and dinners. Everything – both the Giardini Biennale and Garibaldi street with restaurants within reach. Great!
What could be improved: The only thing – a very smelly kitchen trash for no apparent reason 🙁Louise from United Kingdom – 31 July 2024 (9/10)
The location for the apartment was great- very close to restaurants and little supermarkets through the little streets. It is in a quiet residential area away from the crowds, so very quiet to sleep at night. It was a 15 minute walk along the promenade to St. Mark's Square. The sunsets were lovely along the walk way at night. Our host sent us regular texts to ask how we were enjoying our stay and if there was anything we needed as well as wished a pleasant journey home. We were met at the water taxi so we didn't get lost on the way to the apartment. There was everything we needed!
What could be improved: The steps are a little steep, but just don't walk up and down them in shoes. It could have a little washing line to help dry clothes, but that's a minor point.Catherine from Canada – 30 June 2024 (9/10)
Location was perfect -close to the vaporetto stop and to coffee shops and resto. Also very quiet at night.
What could be improved: NANicki from United Kingdom – 8 April 2024 (9/10)
Met by the keyholder who was superb, she was able to advise about the App for Vaporetto's and places to eat .
The location is really good, nice and quiet but right near the centre, so easy walking distance.
Comfortable beds and the place was very warm
A thoroughly enjoyable stayFowler from United States – 6 May 2023 (9/10)
Quiet, comfortable and situated in the best part of Venice…

Location. Quietness. Availability of the staff (landlord and Martina)
What could be improved: The entrance door not isolated enough from the streetMaxie from Germany – 7 November 2022 (9/10)
From an uncomplicated and lovely welcome to a very nice and comfortable apartment in a great area to two super friendly and helpful hosts – it was just great. If you want to feel at home in Venice, you should stay at Gian Marco's place 😉
Marta from Netherlands – 31 October 2022 (9/10)
Absolutely perfect location. Quiet, close to the park and Bienalle, but still 15 minutes walk from the busy centre. Also very convinient water bus connections.
What could be improved: mosquito nets in the windows would be niceSophia from United Kingdom – 24 October 2022 (9/10)
The location between Giardini & Arsenale was perfect for us… We explored a new area. It was near the Giardini vaporetto stop with great connections to Lido, the train station, Rialto… Everywhere!
The house was lovely, the decor, the courtyard, the neighbourhood. We had a great stay. Martina & Fabio met us at Giardini & escorted us to the house. They made us feel very welcome and gave us tips for local places to eat & shop. Giancarlo messaged us a kind of treasure hunt across Venice to find some hidden gems off the tourist track. We had a great stay & experienced a more authentic Venice by staying here.
What could be improved: I really can't think of anything.
