But honestly, I found myself walking most places because the routes through Cannaregio are less congested than the main tourist arteries. You can wander to the Jewish Quarter, explore the quiet campos (squares), or just follow the canals wherever they lead. The hotel staff actually knows the neighborhood well — they’ll point you toward the local bacaro where Venetians grab their evening spritz, not the overpriced tourist traps.

  Clean and easily accessible to local areas of Venice.
  
  What could be improved: Second bedroom has bunk/trundle bed. Could not use trundle. Would not pull out from under bunk bed. Ended up sleeping on the couch.

  1) Location — Of Course i have checked in google maps before booking this property and it was upto my expectations, just in front of the canal.
  2) Size of the property — I didn't expect it would be that big, with 2 big bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with shower.
  
  Overall, we had a very good time, would definitely book again, if we visit Venice…would highly recommend.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing, but it would have been good, if this property had balcony, but since this is in ground floor, shouldn't expect it.

  the property is in a great location, close to shops and restaurants but also on a quiet side street next to a canal. it is a great layout, modern and clean

  What could be improved: The cleaner arrived earlier than check-out, letting herself in and don’t acknowledge we were there and still getting ready. When we ask her to come back later she said she didn’t speak English (in English).
