Venezia in Suite – Luxury Accommodation Overview

First Impressions

Walking through the narrow streets of San Polo to reach Venezia in Suite – Luxury Accommodation feels like you’re heading to a well-kept secret. This three-star property sits right in the heart of one of Venice’s most authentic neighborhoods — I mean, you’re literally surrounded by local bacari and tiny bridges that most tourists never discover. The entrance is understated in that classic Venetian way, but once you step inside, you realize this place has something special going on.

The San Polo Advantage

Here’s what I love about staying in San Polo — you’re close enough to everything that matters, but far enough from the Piazza San Marco crowds to actually breathe. The Rialto Market is practically around the corner, which means you can grab fresh ingredients if your room has cooking facilities, or just wander through for the authentic Venice experience. Honestly, the location feedback about couples rating this place highly makes total sense — there’s something romantic about getting slightly lost in these winding streets together, you know?

What Makes It Work

The suite-style accommodations here are what really set this place apart from your typical Venice hotel room. You get more space to spread out, which — let’s be real — is pretty rare in Venice where most places feel like elegant closets. The fact that recent guests keep highlighting the location tells you something important: this isn’t just about having a bed in Venice, it’s about being positioned perfectly to experience the city like locals do. I’ve noticed that properties in this area tend to have better relationships with neighborhood restaurant owners too, so don’t be surprised if the staff has some insider recommendations.

The Neighborhood Reality

San Polo has this perfect balance — during the day, you’ve got the energy of the Rialto area with all its shops and markets, but evenings get wonderfully quiet. The narrow streets mean you won’t have to worry about cruise ship crowds trampling past your window at dawn. Actually, one thing that surprised me about this area is how many genuine local spots you’ll stumble across just by wandering. There are these tiny wine bars tucked into corners that you’d never find unless you were staying right here in the neighborhood.

Why Guests Keep Coming Back

The 7.6 rating might not scream “perfection,” but honestly, it reflects something more valuable — realistic expectations met solidly. This isn’t trying to be the fanciest place in Venice, but it delivers on what matters: space, location, and that authentic Venetian experience that couples especially seem to appreciate. When you’re exploring Venice all day, you want to come back to a place that feels like a proper retreat, not just a place to crash. The suite setup gives you room to actually unpack and settle in, which makes all the difference when you’re trying to navigate Venice’s beautiful chaos for several days.

Apartments in Venice suit art students with beam-lined lofts, courtyard wells, and quiet campi.

Reviews of Venezia in Suite – Luxury Accommodation

  • Roberta from Italy – 31 March 2025 (7/10)

Stanza eccessivamente calda, e un po’ di umidità ( anche sen penso sia un problema comune a Venezia ahimè!).
Un po’ “old style” la camera, ma tutto sommato bene.
L host gentilissimo e premuroso nei messaggi.
    Posizione ottima x girare Venezia.

  • Ballester from United States – 16 February 2025 (8/10)

The place was clean and comfortable. There is a small balcony in which one can smoke and there is also a common room shared by another suite. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean. It's been my experience that European bathroom are quite small, but this one was sufficiently spacious. Our suite appeared to be fairly recent renovated (as of February 2025) with new finishes.

What could be improved: The place could be difficult to find until you were accustomed to Venice. There is a piano in the common room is decoration only. The keys were warped beyond belief. I wouldn't attempt to play it

  • Nicola from Australia – 24 January 2025 (7/10)

The location, communication, and facilities were good.

What could be improved: The pillows were too hard, the aircon didn't work, and the manager (who I spoke to first) was rude.

  • Vin from Italy – 18 November 2024 (9/10)

La posizione e la chiarezza delle indicazioni per la sistemazione

  • Philippa from Saint Lucia – 29 October 2024 (5/10)

    Comfortable bed.

What could be improved: Furniture was oversize for the room. Room felt cramped. Making it awkward. Misleading description of apartment location. Location said balcony overlooking canal. Instead we were given window overlooking back of restaurant.

  • Gilles from France – 19 October 2024 (7/10)

    L’emplacement
    Le logement très propre

What could be improved: Personnel un peu pressant sur le paiement de la taxe de séjour (demandé à l’issue de la première nuit sur les trois réservées) et exclusivement en espèces.

  • Raluca from Romania – 13 October 2024 (8/10)

    The canal view.

What could be improved: The smoking area is a small and ugly balcony in the common room, you are not allowed to smoke on the balcony of your own room.

  • Yi from Hong Kong – 29 September 2024 (5/10)

What could be improved: Checkout time is 10am in the morning, which is too early. Hotels checkout time is usually at noon. The is no luggage store service at the room(there is an office which is very far away).

  • Mohsen from United Kingdom – 11 June 2024 (2/10)

    Just clean

What could be improved: Very difficult to find the place, takes two hours to reach the place by chance, even was difficult for locals to find this address, not in google maps correctly etc…

  • Morgan from United Kingdom – 23 May 2024 (7/10)

The property is in a great location, around 10 minute walk from the train station. Christian was a very welcoming host and kindly attended the property upon our arrival as they had technical difficulties with the code to access the front door. The bathroom seemed newly renovated and the TV also had Netflix and other streaming services.

What could be improved: Few minor things:

    1. When we arrived, the cushion on the bed had a stain on it but the pillows and sheets were clean.
    2. The mini fridge didn’t work
    3. Although a coffee machine is provided with cups, there are no washing facilities to clean the mugs after use.
