Sometimes the most straightforward names tell you exactly what you’re getting. This three-star apartment sits right in the thick of things on Calle Casseleria, and I mean really close to all the action — you’re basically a few minutes’ walk from St. Mark’s Square without dealing with the chaos of staying directly on it.

The Heart of Venice

The location here is actually incredible, and I’m not just saying that because the property boasts a 9.7 location score. You’re in Venice proper, not on some side canal where you need to take three water buses to get anywhere interesting. I could walk to the Doge’s Palace in about five minutes, grab coffee at those little spots locals actually use, and still escape back to the apartment when the tourist crowds got overwhelming. The Castello district has this authentic feel — you’ll see Venetians going about their daily business, which honestly makes the whole experience feel less like a theme park.

The Space Itself

The room setup works really well for couples (apparently they rate the location a perfect 10.0, and I can see why). It’s not fancy — this is a three-star place, after all — but everything you need is there. The space feels more like staying in someone’s actual Venetian home rather than a sterile hotel room, which I actually preferred. You get a proper sense of what it might be like to live in this incredible city, even if it’s just for a few days.

Daily Life in the Neighborhood

What I loved most was stepping outside each morning and immediately being part of Venice’s rhythm. There’s a little bakery around the corner where I grabbed pastries — the kind of place where the owner remembers your order after two days. The narrow streets here aren’t completely packed with tour groups like some areas closer to the main attractions, but you’re still close enough that you can pop over to St. Mark’s whenever you want. I mean, you’re literally in the real heart of Venice, as they put it, and you feel it.

Why Guests Love It

Look, this isn’t going to be the most luxurious stay of your life, but that’s sort of missing the point. The 8.7 rating makes sense when you consider what you’re actually getting — an authentic Venice experience in an unbeatable location without paying premium prices for unnecessary frills. Couples especially seem to get it, probably because there’s something romantic about having your own little Venetian hideaway that you can retreat to after exploring the city. You’re close enough to everything that matters, but far enough from the main tourist drag that you can actually breathe and enjoy being in one of the world’s most beautiful cities.

  Delicious Apartment is a beautifully appointed place in the heart of Venice!! Nina was a great host,very welcoming!! We would definitely stay here again,very comfortable and perfect location!!

  The location is VERY close to St. Mark's square. So, during the day it is pretty busy with loads of tourists, but at night it is peaceful. It is very close to two grocery stores that were helpful to save on costs!

  The apartment is very comfortable, with beautiful old furniture, fully equipped kitchen and great location. The host Nina was very kind and helpful. Venice is splendid and spectacular. We can definitely recommend visiting this place and hope to return here someday:)

  I would like to thank Nina for her hospitality and wonderful apartment. We liked everything about it. The apartments are very beautiful, you will feel the whole atmosphere of Venice while living in them. It is clean, comfortable, has everything you need and more. And most importantly, they are very close to the center. I recommend it!
